Does anyone know how long you have to leave it after rutuximab before having the shingles vaccine. I had infusion in December & my GP has never offered this or the pneumonia jab so was going to chase this up. Tia

HCG level blip?
Hello I’m wondering if anyone can ease my anxiety at all. My HCG levels have been as follows: 12dp3dt- 580 13dp3dt - 847 15dp3dt- 1761 18dp3dt - 5463 20dp3t - 9075 My clinic have said they’re generally looking good but I didn’t double between 18dpt and 20dpt and so they’ve put me back on a steroid

mucus plugs (plastic bronchitis)
Hi, sorry for gross question but... A long story short: I was in hospital for a severe asthma flare up in September for 12 days (when I was first diagnosed). I was on oxygen and not improving. They gave me a lot of saline and salbutamol nebs. What eventually worked for me was that I coughed up a lot

Waking up at night. Headache. Ptsd nightmares. Nausea and headache. Overwhelmed
So i told you i randomly wake up at night. Mom said it was because i had rested but i didn't feel like that. She went to work. I started having insane headache and everything was irritating me. I went to sleep. I had really vivid nightmares about dad and his new family (my biggest ptsd trigger) and him

NSR with supraventricular ectopy!
I just woke for a wee and my heart felt weird with odd pulse so used my Kardia and got this. I’ve had a nasty cold and cough for about a week - might that be what’s causing it. Last time it happened I’d taken something that contained caffeine so haven’t had it again and did have some cough medicine yesterday

Slight Cold and Actemra
I caught a slight cold over the holidays which I’ve had for about a week and a half. It’s been nothing more than a runny nose and congestion. Very mild. I decided to skip my 6th Actemra dose last Friday until it clears up. It’s almost gone but has settled in my sinuses. Tomorrow is Friday and that’s

Advice please with cold and PMR
For the first time in nearly a year, I have a cold and where I before just go on with it, I am feeling terrible! My body aches so much from my shoulders to the groin and neck and wondering if is this normal when having an autoimmune disease. Should I increase my prednisone until this passes as not sure

Does anyone here continue to have blood in their phlegm after recovering from pneumonia?
I finished taking my medication a week ago, and I haven't been getting much phlegm these days. But now I see blood spots in the phlegm, I have an x-ray tomorrow.I am very worried, my mind sometimes drifts to dark thoughts.

ADAA Personal Story: Do the Impossible: Healing From Posttraumatic Stress Disorder
"PTSD is an invisible monster. It disguises reality. When I was sucked into what I learned to call the trauma vortex, I often couldn’t distinguish between what was real and what wasn’t. I thought I was going crazy. PTSD told me this over and over again: You’re not safe. You never will be. Being dead

Chest infection without steroids
Hi, I am recently diagnosed with asthma - back in September with an awful 12 days in hospital after a cold became bronchitis. Was on oxygen etc. I am a man in early 40s. I had another cold in early November which afterwards led to coughing up thick green stuff and bad wheezing. Took steroids and antibiotics

Message of Victory and Hope
I started Spravato today. Already a major shift has happened with my thoughts. I feel lighter, no anxiety, no worries (and coming from someone with PTSD and panic attacks, this means a lot). Spravato is amazing. My abusers already saw a change in me, too, and have been unhappy about it and I. Do.

Supplements to reduce glutamate
I was inspired by Widebody's comments on taurine and glycine to look into supplements that reduce glutamate. I found the following on an autism website that I cannot vouch for, but here is the list: (those of us taking gabapentin, pregabalin, horizont are taking medicine that is reducing brain glutamate
