Another cold . 2 nd one in the last month. On methotrexate and lefluamide .Fed up

I’ve got another cold .Checked for Covid ,negative.

This is the 2 nd one in a month. Very careful where I go and keep hands gelled but I’ve got a runny nose and cough.

Hi Cal

Have you tried Vicks First Defence or one of the other nasal sprays? I find they do help reduce the severity of colds if I use it straight away. It rinses the viruses out of your nose.

I tried it in desperation when I had reached my fifth cold one winter and was surprised to find it did actually help

I second First Defence. I tend to use it when I think I've had contact with someone infected. Also, since RA, I tend to find that when I get tired I get a bit of a runny nose and cold like symptoms. I keep thinking, I'm coming down with something.
