Red Light Therapy Pad
Dear Friends, I have ordered a red light therapy pad which I am using since yesterday, on the back of my head in the morning and top of my head in the evening for 10 mins 660nm and 10 mins 850nm, both pulsing at 10 Hz. I feel groggy after using it with a worsening of symptoms. Is this normal?

Cortisol - Dr Berg you tube video on a 26 step natural treatment plan
I really got interested in cortisol when I met 6 months back a super fit young chap who was a national standard rower who was part of the Olympic team and had to give everything up due to a nasty auto-immune disease that he has subsequently cured. As part of that he has to limit any intense exercise

CLL AND RA
About five years ago I was diagnosed with CLL, a high WBC but it is steady, I am getting no treatment, just monitoring for now. This month I was diagnosed with severe RA ,with a sudden onset four months ago. Treatment so far is Enbrel and prednisone. I'm working on tapering off the prednisone, and now

Update recent PSMA
Docs did it to me again with the usual bad news. Uptake in new lymph node locations in pelvis. the radiotherapy failed, and preclude more treatment on new nodal areas. (according to Docs.) So expect to add to ADT, abi or enza or darolutamide in a short while, with PSA going up on a fast double.

CV and Bone Health when ADT is a treatment option.
Thought this provided a useful framework to guide discussion with my medical team when discussing whether or not and what to do about CV and bone health when starting on ADT. https://www.urotoday.com/conference-highlights/eau-2024/eau-2024-prostate-cancer/151136-eau-2024-synchronous-mhspc-what-are-the-treatment-options-and-what-are-the-goals-of-treatment-what-to-test-before-start-of-hormonal-treatment-and-what-to-monitor.html

Treatment options
I am 47 years old diagnosed with PC last month with Gleason score 9(5,4) and was advised ADT treatment with Bicalutamide and followed by Lupron 30 mg after two weeks. PSA was 77 in Jan and dropped to 23 after starting ADT treatment and already feeling better with much less urinary symptoms. I was advised

What is done in this case ? ADT not working
In may of 2011 the PSA and Biopsy showed that I had an agressive cancer with Gleason 8 so my prostate was extracted and after this I received radiotherapy. Since during the following 9 years my psa continued very low, I suspended checking it and last september I received the surprise that it had increased

Ryeqo, anyone on it or tried it?
Just started this today, apparently it's a new drug similar to prostap but in tablet form with hrt included, to be taken once a day for six months. When I picked my prescription up the chemist said the 3 month supply of tablets were very expensive and cost over £200 apparently! I work but i'm on universal

ADHD-PI dad + ADHD-PH 4yo boy = Chaos
I’ll try to be brief. We both have ADHD with different classifications. All family goes to therapy. He takes Methylphenidate since 3 months ago and goes to occupational therapy. Also 1mg melatonin for sleep since he started those meds. He showed issues at school since over a year ago. Been kicked out

darolutamide monotherapy experience?
If you’ve had darolutamide mono therapy, I’m interested in your experience with effectiveness and side effects, especially compared to ADT like Lupron.

peri menopause
Hi I am 44 and peri menopausal hot flushes, sleepless nights, brain fog on top of my lupus brain fog I am surprised I can remember my own name. Dr does not want to give me HRT due to blood clotting but when I have tried to research lupus and HRT they don’t seem to recommend it. Has anyone had the same

3 Abiraterone tabs in place of 4.
Warriors Some time back I posted that my MO had told me to take 3 Abiraterone tablets with 5 mg Prednisone daily instead of 4 to help with an out of control Blood Pressure problem. I was worried (as were some of the responses) that this could impact the ADT therapy. Recently had blood work done

Coming off HRT patches
Hi everyone, I'm 55 years old and I've been on a bit of a health journey these last few years to say the least, with many debilitating symptoms including crushing fatigue. As part of the treatment for this, I went onto HRT oestrogen patches 18 months ago, along with the mirena coil I already had.

Testosterone Recovery: Orgovyx vs Lupron, Part-II
Here's another plot summarizing data from a 2020 paper in the New England Journal of Medicine by Neil Shore, et al. that shows Orgovyx has much faster "ON" and "OFF" changes in testosterone levels, compared to Lupron. This plot compares the percentage of men who recover their testosterone (defined

Radiation & Underactive Bladder
Does anyone on this forum have an Underactive Bladder and has also undergone prostate radiation treatments? I will be starting a series of 34 radiation treatments coupled with a 6-month hormone therapy (orgovyx) program. Less than 6 years ago I chose RP over radiation as primary treatment for my PCa

HI everyone. I have another scan next month, and I am not looking forward to what it will say. I found out in 2018 I have osteopenia. My doctor believes I am in stage 2/3 now. I fell 2 years ago on the ground next to my car. I rebroke my foot in the same spot as 4 years earlier from a head on collision

Does NSAIDS reduce ADT effectiveness?
