CLL AND RA

About five years ago I was diagnosed with CLL, a high WBC but it is steady, I am getting no treatment, just monitoring for now. This month I was diagnosed with severe RA ,with a sudden onset four months ago. Treatment so far is Enbrel and prednisone. I'm working on tapering off the prednisone, and now down to 10 mg from 40mg daily. I have surgery in a week for torn rotator cuff. I was also told I was a candidate for both hip replacements but since being on enbrel The hip pain has gone away, I guess it was caused by the RA.

Just looking for anyone with similar symptoms or diagnosis.

Hi WLF3,

-

Sorry to hear about your added issues / pain from RA. Since CLL disturbs / imbalances our immune system, many of use have autoimmune conditions that can make our daily lives difficult.
