Stent 6 yrs
So I was 36 had a heart attack 1 stent fitted ok since then minimal to no damage on all the meds. Saw my cardiologist once but never again. Why am I not under a consultant and why do I never have any scans or anything to make sure I'm still ok?

Zytiga and prednisone, bowel problems
Hi, my husband has been on Zytiga and prednisone for about 3 months, he also has a kidney stent due to prostate pressing on lymph node which in turn was blocking urine flow. His bowel habits have changed since then, ie loose stools and regularity changed. Anyone else with these problems? Thank you

Dear All, This was originally in the long thread following my post about my mother's passing, but i wanted to make sure people saw it and read about how invaluable they have been and about the need to be safe from the things that contributed to my mother's suffering. Love and gratitude to all who write

Does anyone know what natural supplement I can take to lower early morning blood sugar while taking Clopidogrel and baby aspirin?
I recently had one heart stent put in. 99% blockage, and took me by surprise. Drove myself to the ER, really not knowing I was having a heart problem. I thought it was arthritis. Afterwards I was put on Clopidogrel and a baby aspirin. But before I had the stent put in I noticed that my blood sugar started

GCA patient saw cardiologist yesterday, med changes
Hi all: So I took, my weatherman to Cardiologist yesterday. Routine checkup, because of the history of CABG 2005 and stent replacement last year and occasional chest pain with flareups. So during his visit yesterday, Mac told cardiologist about needing nitro 3x in one week with symptoms of GCA. This

1. Family history of CVD? get tested for Lp(a) know your risk factor!. 2. Telmisartan and secondary prevention, anyone take this BP med?
Hi fellow hearties I have elevated lipoprotein (a) or Lp(a) for short. This is a genetically inherited condition and recognised as a significant and independent risk factor for the development and progression of CVD. At my level of 90> mg/dL my heart health risk factor is multiplied by 3. If early

Hi all. New to this site. I’ve been reading the few posts about people suffering pain after having stents fitted. I suffer pain and can’t see a doctor because of the restrictions. Shoulder blade pain after HA and PCI surgery
I have now had 2 Ops to have 4 stents inserted. Treatment I received was brilliant but having pains in shoulder blades. Not constant comes and goes. This website is excellent as I have been a bit bewildered since the HA. I am 65 and was fit, healthy and very active. Despite being advised by cardiac

Hi all. I am 60, my history a Cardio stent in 2014 and recently told I have moderate aortic heart valve calcification. I keep fit and have no life style risk factors but I have a Genetic lipid condition, highly elevated lipoprotein (a). This triples my risk of stroke further development of CVD so

My Heart Story.
Hi all newbie here and my first post. By profession, I am a 60-year-old overweight taxi driver and I came across this site while in hospital waiting for CABGX4. In 2014, I was out of puff after push starting a vehicle for a neighbour and came over all sweaty and clammy. Wife phoned for ambulance and
