Update, still got discomfort
Still got discomfort in the top of my chest, under my left arm and neck. Does not get worse on exertion and even disappears sometimes. GTN does improve it. Doctor says it’s almost certainly not my heart as it does not get worse with exertion ? Doc says Could be the meds but thinks it’s to early after

So my issue is this: I had my HA last March (one stent fitted) and generally

Stent pain after a year
Overall I’d say I’m doing pretty well after 2 LAD stents in December 2018. Recently stopped my Clopidigrol and Beta Blocker. Had a stress ECG before Xmas and waiting on results. I’m convinced I’ve had more constant stent discomfort since I stopped the Clopidogrol. It’s every day - a prodding, jabbing

Been to hospital to have my arm heaviness investigated, could not do the tread mill test or rising of the heart rate because of my poor lung function and was told would not be safe, other procedures that could be done like operations also can not be done for same reasons, so put on a spray that goes

Ok, so after a couple of fairly significant warnings, I have decided to take my health more seriously. I have spent a lot of my life sitting at a desk, or sitting in the car, or sitting beside a swimming pool, gymnasium etc.. My priorities have been my family, either earning as much as I can, or making

Ache across chest
Hi everyone, this is my first post. I had a cardiac stent done 4 weeks ago, I repeatedly return to A&E as I have pains across top of my chest and on the top part of my upper right arm. Bloods & ECG all checked and normal Tropinin 7, they say it's muscular skeletal! Is this possible I'm frightened about

Shoulder blade pain
I had small heart attack at the beginning of Dec & one stent fitted. I am now experiencing ache/pains in my shoulder blade. When I spoke to the cardiac nurse was told to use gtn spray. The problem is it is becoming more frequent since Ny eve & just read you should not to use your spray often. Not sure

Lisinopril
I had a heart attack in 2005 and a stent fitted in my right coronary artery. At the time I was put on 2.5 mg bisoprolol, 2.5mg lisinopril, 75mg apirin and 40 mg simvastatin . I am now 69 years old. I dropped the lisinopril about 5 years ago as my BP was not an issue and my GP thought it may be contributing

Blood thinners
I had one anuerysm repaired. 6 coils and a stent. in June this year, (I still have another). I'm still on aspirin and clopidogrel every day, I have now been diagnosed with breast cancer needing a lumpectomy! The op cant be done until I'm off the clopidogrel. Question is, how long have people been on

Still getting “twinges” and discomfort after four months. Stent to LAD.
I have been up and down. After my last post really got into walking and felt good as new for about 5 weeks. Then started getting discomfort in chest while resting. Nothing really painful but thought I had got through that stage? Stress seems to bring it on? Again doesn’t get worse on exertion, managed

First intervention and stent possibly not solving things?
I recently saw a comment here on intervention, stent and meds not always solving things first time. Has anyone experienced this please? I had a mild nstemi and one stent fitted just over 5 weeks ago but am still getting on and off soreness and discomfort, sometimes up to 3 or 4 out of 10 pain level but

Hello, I'm new here!
Hi Everyone. Haven't properly introduced myself, how rude! I'm enjoying this forum, as it seems to be so upbeat, which is truly welcome. Newly diagnosed with Coronary Heart Disease, had whopper of a heart attack in September which went undiagnosed, 'cos I'm a woman and that seems to be what happens

Blockage
I recently had a heart attack, and apparently my artery is completely blocked. Being treated with medication. Isit still possible to have a stent after several months?
