Does anyone know what natural supplement I can take to lower early morning blood sugar while taking Clopidogrel and baby aspirin?

I recently had one heart stent put in. 99% blockage, and took me by surprise. Drove myself to the ER, really not knowing I was having a heart problem. I thought it was arthritis. Afterwards I was put on Clopidogrel and a baby aspirin. But before I had the stent put in I noticed that my blood sugar started to rise in the early morning hours (before breakfast, around 3 or 4 in the morning). I started taking berberine, 1 caplet before bed would control that. Now that I am on Clopidogrel I cannot take the berberine. Does anyone have a suggestion for a natural way to control the early morning rise in my BS? Thanks for any help you might have.
