hi I know people can’t give medical advice but I’m hoping maybe for some reassurance/opinions I was given a stent in 2018 no heart attack but narrowed lad I’ve recently started to notice high heart rate readings on my Apple Watch SE no notification but only saw it when looking back through the days data

swelling lower limbs
Hello, I had a coronary stent fitted in October 2023. My 3rd in16 years. I have recovered well after each episode and returned to an active life. I have started a couch to 5K and managed a 5K in 30 minutes after a month of exercise. So I am really pleased. However recently I have noticed my calves, ankles

Raynauds
Dr diagnosed me in 1994 with Raynauds said it’s usually a prelude to later disease like, arthritis or scleroderma I have both now. Along with numerous other diseases. Had open heart surgery in 2005. Stent put in aorta in 2010. And pretty sure my next visit to vascular surgeon in March for my PAD in legs

Stopping clopidogrel safely—abruptly or gradual cessation?
I’ve been on clopidogrel (Plavix) for one year after a drug eluting stent was placed in my significantly blocked LAD (aka widow maker artery) 2/23. I’m wondering if the following is true or not, and what your experience has been with stopping clopidogrel safely—abruptly or gradual cessation? Because

after a stent…
This is for information only for those who may have a stent fitted recently or about to. It’s about side effects that can happen and why. I had a stent fitted to open up my LAD just before Christmas this year after being on a medical regime for 11 months. The procedure took about an hour rather

Update: x-ray shock 😲
Just an update after my bood test shower hf.I am still waiting on the echo. I was to have a chest x-ray. I mentioned back pain so I got both done. Chest x-ray was fine. The back x-ray was late!! Mmm Turns out I have a blocked artery in my left hip. Along with the heart meds, I also now am given aspirin

immune system
Hi guys Hope you are all having a good day. I'm 9 months post stent. Still haven't completely sorted my head out, but im getting there. Just thinking as i'm sitting here with man flu, is there any data that suggests that the post heart attack medication can affect our immune systems.

Statins
Morning All, Following a stent in March 2023 I have been put on 80mg Astrovastatin among other meds. In the last 4 months I’ve had muscle pains in my left arm and between my shoulder blades when lifting even the lightest things. Sometimes really quite painful. Following some unsuccessful physio I’

I had 2 heart attacks in 2022 and had an emergency stent fitted. Should I be having regular check ups as I have not had any follow up since I finished my rebiltation

pulse
had stent fitted last week . Have been on blood thinners and statin since , but wasn’t told to carry on with beta blockers or nitrate tabs . My pulse at the moment is only 59 which is low ish for me without beta blockers . Does this mean the stents not working properly ?

Drinking alcohol
I'm going on a cruise and my other half wants to get the drinks package. But I suffer from microvascular angina and had a stent fitted 4 years ago. I'm on heart meds/statins. My question is should I be drinking for 14 days . I do drink but about once a week . To break even I would have to have at least

angioplasty with stent
had stent put in rca on Tuesday . The pain in my arm is horrendous and hot to the touch . Is this to be expected with the trauma ? And the acid reflux is quite bad . Reading up on it could be side effect to clipidogrel . Any here had similar issues

left arm tingle is confusing me
hello, The top, rear, of my left arm has been tingling for about a week now. I had a stent fitted a few years ago and I’ve since given up smoking and I run 4 times a week. However, I’m always worried when it comes to any “symtoms” that could be heart related. Should I go to the hospital?

I had noticed over the last few months
