Just an update after my bood test shower hf.I am still waiting on the echo. I was to have a chest x-ray. I mentioned back pain so I got both done.
Chest x-ray was fine. The back x-ray was late!! Mmm
Turns out I have a blocked artery in my left hip.
Along with the heart meds, I also now am given aspirin and statins. I am also aneamic so on iron. I have clottication. Thick blood.
So...I called the bhf nurse. Very nice and helpful. She said I could ask my doctor for a pain patch for my groin as the blocked artery feels like a pressure.
I got ralvo 700mg medicated plasters today. I put one on for 12 hours then off for 12. I suffer abdomen pain due to fluid and I get sick. You cannot take a painkiller when you cannot hold anything down.
I'd rate this patch helpful for my problem. It has relieved the pain.
I was told it probably will be stents I get for the blocked hip artery. It is a big artery in the left leg.
Then....I was told I had peripheral arterial disease.
All this before my echo is a shock 😲.
I only had blood drawn 7 weeks ago and now I'm getting lots of problems.
I have had sore feet for years with this condition. It's effecting my baby toes. Side of foot.
Well that is my update. Shall let anyone interested know more when I do. Hopefully it helps someone at some point.
Haven't heard of anyone with this hip problem.
Has anyone else had this?
Hope everyone is as well as can be and resting.
I cannot keep awake much. Not good. No energy at all.
Since 2021 I had covid then a mth later omicron then covid again. This tiredness and swelling then started. I did not have it before covid.
Covid did make this for me worse.
At least when you know you can try to fix it.
A little confused waiting on my vascular clinic app.
Do you all think I will get a stent? Is it surgery?
Thanks gang for reading. Sorry it was long.
