My Twin has passed away
oh my gosh, my anxiety is out of control, my Twin died 3 weeks ago, suddenly and unexpected, she is still with the coroner as she was seen in A&E on the Monday and sent home on bed rest, she died early hours of Wednesday, so there is a big investigation going on. It looks like she had a massive stroke

Auto immune encephalitis
My father was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis, after experiencing seizures and deja vu, approx 12 months ago, he was treated with steroids. He subsequently developed diabetes and 9 weeks ago was admitted to hospital after developing a leg infection. The leg infection was treated successfully.

Does anyone here use brewers yeast as a natural source of B vitamins? If so have you had any reactions particularly if trying gluten-free? I took it for a while once and it could have been placebo effect but I did start to feel more energetic, but stopped taking as this was around the time my immune

Synacthen Test looming in a moment...quick query
Morning all, I've been missing this forum due to events taking a turn for the worst. I'm at the lowest ever dose 5mg pred. Not been feeling well since January, loss of appetite, occasional vomiting, the worst insomnia and even more fatigued. Upper endoscopy showed 'sliding hernia' (gp's suggestion).

Breathlessness
hi everyone, I wonder if I could have some advice! I’m having what I assume is a lupus flare (although my pain isn’t as bad as it sometimes gets), my main issue is over the last week I’ve become increasingly breathless. My blood pressure, pulse rate and blood oxygen is all normal. I have no temperature

Tachycardia
Rather a long post I’m afraid. In 2000 I was 44 and developed unstable angina over 4 months. My husband had BUPA with his work so I saw a cardiologist quickly, put on aspirin, Bisoprolol and GTN. The cardiologist was always unsure whether it was a blockage to my LAD or a spasm and I was due to undergo

Can a new drug mimic the effects of exercise on bone and muscle?
Looks like this is something we should look forward to and keep an eye out for approval. Researchers have recently discovered that a new drug called locamidazole may help to prevent loss of bone density and muscle mass during periods of inactivity, but it’s no substitute for all of the benefits of exercise
