Supplements are Useless... Really! Let me dispel that notion
Just read this entire thread - https://healthunlocked.com/parkinsonsmovement/posts/141176703/supplements-useless And the smug assurances of originator of this thread has me furious as well as dismayed. My wife, with me in tag, visited the neurologist late December 2019 for a checkup. She reported that

RLS and Glutamate?
For me, sleep deprivation leads to an increase in anxiety and a marked worsening of my OCD. This leads to my being overtired and anxious, which then makes it even more difficult to sleep when the restlessness finally dips down to a manageable level. For a long time, when this happened, I would take

a talk I wish I could give GPs called 'magic medicine' given to me by my grandmother.
My grandmother was a vet and she gave us a talk once called 'magic medicine.' ' I have operated on animals in all kinds of conditions, literally in pigs sty's sometimes and I have never been called back in see to an infection. I scrub my hands, lay out a sheet and my instruments have been boiled since

Your thoughts please......
He has suggested that I should consider
radioactive
iodine
treatment and is concerned about the risks of remaining on Carbimazole long term and says the T3 levels are likely to increase again, as soon as I stop taking the medication.

Cannabis and Cancer interesting reading for sure :)
Cannabis and Cancer, A Brief Introduction Part 1 Cannabis has a long history of co-treatment with conventional cancer treatments. Chemotherapy comes with a host of side effects such as nausea, vomiting, blisters, hair loss, appetite loss, and more. Treatment with cannabis during chemo might not help

Pain relief - what's best?
Mum's developed severe pain this week - muscle spasms and we think into her joints, she's got a high pain threshold and is wincing and in tears with it. She left hospital 2 months ago after her hip surgery with a codeine prescription, until this week it's barely been touched. Now the nursing home team

Treatment With Intramuscular Levothyroxine in Refractory Hypothyroidism
Given the regular appearance of patients who appear unable to tolerate levothyroxine, I thought this paper had the potential to be very interesting. And indeed the abstract is fascinating - as far as it goes. The full paper will be accessible in PubMed Central from 01/06/2020. [i]Eur Thyroid J, 8 (

24hrs post-lap too good to be true...then bam!
I’m posting again but now, thankfully, with a definitive diagnosis! I had my diagnostic lap on Wednesday and endo was found on both sides (I’d only expected right side based on pain) and in POD. I had an overnight stay but didn’t see the consultant in the morning as he was on a flight somewhere so
