I don't know anything about your condition I am afraid. I can suggest that you request a referral to a Pain Management clinic. I found mine very useful but the waiting lists tend to be long.

When was the last time you asked your GP for a medication review. It's possible other medications or combinations might work better for you.

I have fou d that taking co-codamol rather than straight codeine works better. Paracetamol seems to enhance the action of other pain medications.

I hope you get improved relief soon. And try not to tense up. I know it's the aitomatic reaction to bad pain but it can make things much worse when tense muscles etc are added into the mix. I have found meditaion for pain helpful. It's worth a try.

I haven’t heard of this condition but it sounds horrible!

I’m currently having some success using B12 for neuropathic & lower back pain from prolapsed discs, & have increased my injections of hydroxocobalamin to every 4 or 5 days. Some research I read recently, that I’ll try to remember to post a link to later, mentions folate (not folic acid) is also beneficial for pain relief. I’m vegetarian so get plenty of this from my diet, but plan to swap my B complex supplement for one containing natural folate as the extra might help.

A good daily dose of vitamin D3 can only help, along with bisglycinate or chelated magnesium. A 30 minute soak in a bath with >500g of magnesium salts is another way to get this pain reducing mineral.

I also find infrared helpful. The light penetrates the skin to promote circulation & tissue repair. I also find the heat very relaxing which may benefit you.

??? r u in the U.S. or abroad??
