Help - is this right?
Hi all, I have read yesterday's comments about DEXA scans and taking AA with interest - and concern. After initial diagnosis and getting going on meds (Pred only) my GP said she didn't need to see me until I had reduced to 5mg. As time went on it was clear that this wouldn't happen in a rush and I asked

Cancer remains after prostatectomy
I was a reasonably fit 52 year old guy when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March this year 3TB Gleason of 9 and was operated on in May (open
radical
prostatectomy
). Unfortunately after the operation I was told that I still had cancer (lymph, base and apex) and told I was 'still high risk'.

I am new here and started hormone therapy
I am 59 years old and had my prostate (PSA) test done in the fall of 2016. It came back at 40, after a biopsy found the Gleason score to be 4 + 3 (7). I had a Prostectomy at the end of May 2017. The surgeon was sure it was contained and that they got all the cancer out. After healing up for 7 weeks

Urologist recommends
radical

Radical
prostatectomy
(da vinci robot). Pathology report shows positive margins, seminal vesicle invasion, extra-capsular extension and one positive lymph node out of 20 removed. Now I am really getting worried! May 2015.

Medical marijuna
My doctor recommended I start take medical marijuana to help try to recover from my stroke. Does anyone think this is a good idea or has there even been evidence of it working. Little nervous 😟 about this.

I'm new here
I'm nearly 69, Gleason 7 (3+4), PSA 10.3, prostate normal size, the cancer appears to be isolated to the left side of prostate, diagnosed last month. I'm currently in Mazatlan, Mx, where the only option is open prostatectomy. I've talked with 2 Urologists and the biopsy MD. I have Medicare A, won't have
