L’arginine

I had a radical prostatectomy 4 years ago. Cancer reappeared in the pelvic area so I had 39 radiation treatments. Anyways, I’m wondering if L’arginine (Vialis is the brand) is safe with my past experiences.

I assume you're taking it for erectile function/protection of blood vessels? Yes, it's safe. I've tried Citrulline too. ED meds (Cialis, Levitra, or Viagra) are better, but it will be difficult to get an erection without libido (ADT dampens libido).

Brother in law is debating radiation or surgery. He’s of good health and his age is 68. PSA is 16.3 and for the Gleason they snipped 13 and 5 sections scored a 9.

The therapy that has the best odds of curing him is whole pelvic external beam radiation plus a brachytherapy boost to the prostate plus hormone therapy.

So he shouldn’t have the surgery?
