How credible is my report
In three separate paragraphs it states 'persistent psa post
radical
prostatectomy
', 'evidence of prostatectomy with no abnormal radiotracer uptake in the prostate bed', 'prior prostatectomy'. The point is I have never had a RP. I had 78g of RT (8 years ago) and 3 years of Lupron.

D- Mannose strength
Happy New Year to you all. I have been reading the posts about UTI ‘s and the recommendations that D-Mannose is a good supplement for this condition. During November I was admitted to Hospital with a Kidney infection resulting from a UTI. I have been taking antibiotics on and off since the end

Improved Prostate Cancer Detection Using HP 13C MRI - Coming to a treatment center near you?
As the complexity of the genetic/epigenetic nature of cancer has become evident, significant research focus has once again returned to cancer metabolism. This new MRI technology (HP 13C MRI) promises to capture and identify specific metabolic characteristics of PCa that have not been possible with exiting

ADT and radiation
I had a
radical
prostatectomy
on 1/28/22. It was partial nerve sparing. My Gleason score was 7 (4+3). I was very fit going into surgery and recovery has mostly been going well. The only issue I have is that I still have ED. My erections are at about 50% with no aids.

Rising PSA after salvage radiation
Diagnosed March 2018 (Gleason 7), prostatectomy July 2018. PSA rose to 0.1 by September 2020 which triggered salvage radiation and 6 months ADT. This year PSA began a slow rise from <0.01 to 0.02 to 0.04 and now is 0.06. Wondering if this is worrisome? Also, I changed my atorvastatin dose from 20mg

PSMA PET SCAN
My husband got back the results of his PSMA PET scan & we don't see the doctor for a few weeks. There's so many things I don't understand. He's had prostatectomy in 2019, 35 treatments of radiation & 6 mos. of Eliguard. His PSA has been undetectable for 1-1/2 years until March. It's risen slightly since

osteopenia, Hashimotos and sjogrens
hi, my rheumatologist has prescribed Adcal and Alendronic acid. Due to oesphagitis because of Sjögren’s I don’t want to take Alendronic acid. Through research and the help of thyroid UK I now take vitamin D3 MK2 and magnesium. Pains in my chest which used to feel like a heart attack have cleared up since

Medical Marijuana and Panic Disorders
Hello everyone, I am going through some personal ordeals and would like to gather more information off of others experiences. My back story, I have had issues with depression and anxiety since I was a teenager, but nothing severe. Had a very close loss and have been a wreck since. First was misdiagnosed

Adcal-D3
Just wondering if anyone takes Adcal-D3 prescribed by the GP. I've just been looking at the level of D3 and its 400 I.U. (equivalent to 10 micrograms per tablet). For winter that seems low to me; was wondering if anyone takes extra D3? Its important I can absorb calcium as I've now got osteoporosis

Today is one of those dates a person remembers but really doesn't want to remember - it was 2 years ago today when my urologist's nurse called me to say "you have mets. I'm sorry". those two small sentences are burned into my memory, i can remember exactly where i was, what direction i was facing,

fnd since may 2022
my FND came on after the birth of my daughter. Started with vertigo, balance issues, fleeting paralysis until July when my full body went into paralysis and continued to do so for weeks. In and out of paralysis. Was admitted into the hospital and since then I’ve had almost every symptom you can get it

Post Prostatectomy PSA at 0.2, need advice for 1st discussion w/ oncologist
PSA has reached 0.2 after a RALP in 2020 so I'm being referred to a radiation oncologist for further treatment. Post operation biopsy determined positive margin at the mouth of the bladder which raised my staging to a T3. I've done some research but would appreciate some feedback from others in this
