hi there I’m 37 and had two children via IVF when I was 33 and 35. I have stage 4 recto vaginal endometriosis and had a bowel resection and temporary stoma when I was 31 before starting IVF. Now I’m finished having children, I’ve gone back on the pill and run it back to back to prevent periods. I’m

Please enlighten me!!!
I have not had labs since 2023 and needed new RX. The following are results from 4/11 at which time I had not taken any thyroid meds for one week. I had really been concerned about the possibility of heart issues due to over 6 months of extreme fatigue, inability to do even light excercise, shortness

Hi everyone. I have had 16 gynaecological operations starting at aged 13 and ending 23 years ago a day before my 40th birthday when I had an emergency hysterectomy where for some reason they left my cervix. Following my op they tried HRT but my BP shot up so I was taken off it. Urinary incontinence

A book recommendation from my Doctor.
Dear fellow sufferers, After a visit to my doctor, who was brilliant, and took time to listen to me! I’ve been recommended a book to read by her. It’s called Mine Your Gut by Kate Scarlata and Dr Megan Riehl. I’ve started it and it’s brilliant! Defo worth a read…. Secondly, interestingly she was keen

Effect of Age on Treatment Outcomes
Here is a recent study that shows having an older age (ranging from 65-75) results in a more favorable outcome when doing radiation treatment (i.e., older is better). The opposite is true for radical prostatectomy (RP) treatment. Namely, the older you are, the worse the outcome is after RP. https:

Bleeding Heavily on Zoladex
I've been on Zoladex since the end of December. I'm on it for excessive bleeding. I had an abandoned hysterectomy last September when they found stage 4 endo. After this I saw an endo specialist privately and he put me on zoladex. I had an MRI which showed a lot of endometriosis which has fused my bowel

Bowel or endometrioma pain?
Hi I'm hoping someone can shed a bit of light on my pain. I have endo in lots of places in POD on ligaments and my bowel.I also have a 5cm endometrioma. I am down for surgery for hysterectomy as I have adenomyosis and endo extraction. I've opted out of a bowel resection as the waiting list is longer

New here and worried
Potted history. Regular wine drinker. Bottle a night, but recently cut down to 0 since 4 weeks. Have had history of RUQ pain, but it came and went. Has been constant for a month now. Also get lower pelvic pain. I had a hysterectomy with retained ovaries in 2014. I also have lupus and a carrier of haemochromatosis

Anyone tried Ryeqo?
Hello all, Im new here too… advised by my GP to try a forum for ideas and support for my Adenomyosis. I’m currently awaiting a hysterectomy. I was put on Ryeqo last September by my gynae consultant, who advised it was a last chance saloon & “miracle drug” that would solve all my problems! But it’s done

Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing as well as possible. I'm 5 weeks post op for my first lap for DIE, large cysts organs stuck together. All the good stuff. I've recovered pretty well and feel ok now. I'm on Utrogestan 200mg to hopefully stop my period and reduce chances of regrowth. I also take NAC,

Op for Frozen Pelvis (stage 5 Endo)
IM SORRY ABOUT THE LENGTH OF THIS POST, ITS LIKE A BLOODY NOVEL. SORRY What a nightmare, 50 next year & dealt with this since I was 16. I'm so sick of Endo. After Ectopics, miscarriages, so many laparoscopies I've lost count and a few laparotomy & finally full hysterectomy, kept the 1 remaining ovary
