Spotting m/bleeding & pain after sex

so I had a hysterectomy 8 weeks ago only ovaries left now

I’m 8weeks post op why do I have bleeding and discomfort after sex?? 😔

How is this even possible?

We have had sex 4/5 times in the last 2 weeks and nothing but now this !!

I don’t understand how this is even possible why do I ha be d mild pain bleeding ant discomfort ? I don’t have a uterus anymore?!?!?

Hi, it sounds like you're still healing & have over done it. If in doubt, call the hospital & ask to speak to your surgeon/consultant or speak to your GP. There's also a group on Facebook called Hysterectomy Sisters you might find useful on advice if you aren't a part of it already. Hope you feel better soon!

Heya, women are known to experience continuous endometriosis or endo-like symptoms post hysterectomy I'm afraid. If you've been diagnosed with endo that is. Do report the bleeding to your doctor & have it investigated
