Endometriosis and Adenomyosis
Hi I have just been diagnosed with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. I have been having bad pain and bleeding for 3 years now and saw a gynaecologist who said it was because of a cyst. 3 years later and I saw a different consultant who sent me for an mri scan which showed that I have severe endometriosis

Hysterectomy and depression
Hi I posted last week about been on waiting list for hysterectomy. I have suffered for many years since I was a teenager with depression. I have been reading up about hysterectomy and it says it can affect you emotionally. I am worried because of already having depression and anxiety about coping emotionally

hey all, I posted last week regarding my mum who was awaiting her results. They had MDT on Thursday and called her straight in for 08:30am Friday to see gynae/onc consultant for results. They didn’t mention anywhere else on her CT other than what we already knew about the ovary so we are assuming

Pelvis insufficiency fractures.
Is there anyone out there suffering from them. I have three one stable (left sacrum) and two active (left sacrum and pubis bone) plus a haematoma. All as a direct result from radio therapy. Which I had as i was diagnosed with Endometrial cancer, hysterectomy then several weeks later almost 5 weeks of

Endometriosis?
Hi everyone My journey is quite a lengthy one so I’ll attempt to shorten it by containing the most important info… when I was a teenager I had awfully painful, extremely heavy periods at times they would bring me to tears, this improved after having children but was still far from “normal” whatever

Awful day
So yesterday was the worst day I’ve had in a long time. I’ve been bleeding almost constantly since February. I’ve been on zoladex and now Prostap for 18 months. No improvement, in fact seems worse on Prostap. I get the letter no one wants, your smear test is due. Oh great can’t do that in my state. But

Is This HOCD Anymore?
Ok first off, I realise that this is probably reassurance seeking. Equally I realise that this is probably futile and isn't going to achieve anything, but hey, maybe this time will be different. So story time. Apologies for the epic length, but this is something that ive not ever fully written or told

Advice on bloodwork after radiation treatment?
Hello all, I have been coming back to this forum since finding it a few weeks back, and am looking for some advice and thoughts on my father's case. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer (a very low PSA) back in 2016, underwent a radical prostatectomy that year, and then radiation a year or two later

Erection return
For those who have experienced radical prostatectomy, my question is about the return of erectile function. I realize it may never come back. Or it may come back but it could take up to 2 years. I am doing penis pumping once to twice daily. I am taking daily sildenafil. Over two months out since the

post hysterectomy issues?
I’ve just had a total hysterectomy because I had cancer. The surgeons assistant said there was a LOT of endometriosis stuck to everything. They had never diagnosed this (or indeed a second completely different cancerous tumour on my ovary) so now I’m thinking… what about the endometriosis? Is it all

Hi I have endometriosis and Adenomyosis I have been on waiting list for hysterectomy for about 15 months. I am 37 and I am feeling nervous about having the operation done. I don't have a date for op yet but I have my pre op tomorrow. Can anyone tell me their experiences if they have had a hysterectomy

What questions did you wish you’d asked before hysterectomy?
Hi All, I had excision surgery (BSGE surgeon) last autumn (pouch of Douglas, uterosacral ligament and uterine wall) and since spring this year the pain has returned. I’d been offered Zoladex or a hysterectomy, but i pushed for an MRI before making any decisions (the surgeon put me on the waiting list

Trapped wind!
Has anyone got any pearls of wisdom of how to get rid of this? Had for a while after my hysterectomy. Tried peppermint tea, peppermint tablets, chewing gum and of course moving around. It’s no joke, so painful 😓

Hi ladies! Just looking for some adivce for my Mum, who's half way through her course of six Caelyx treatments. Hysterectomy advice
Hello all, I have been off of Zoladex for around 6 months and went for some more in-depth scans a couple of weeks ago which showed severe damage to both ovaries (specifically however the left ovary is not having a good time) and lots of fibroids, cysts and sticky tissue. Consultant call today has

Adcal thoughts please
I just wondered what the experts thoughts are on taking Adcal when you don’t have thyroid problems? My 80 year old mother broke her hip 3 years ago, had a Dexa scan which was fine, although was subsequently told they’re pointless for someone of her age. I’ve got her on higher dose vitamin D and K2

Cancer Center Keeps Making Errors that make my application for a Medical Marijuana card get denied
I am so frustrated! My second application for a MMC was denied as the Physicians License # was in error. The first one was denied because their phone number was not included. This is just crazy! I've written a letter about that to them and will be giving it to either my onc or the NP that I see
