Relationship struggle with neurotypical wife.
I got a diagnosis and treatment for my ADHD,
quit
smoking and
drinking
, and started taking care of myself. I am open with my feelings I try to be calm and not overreacte but fall short sometimes. When I've got my mind set on doing something she'll ask me what I'm doing.

Liver pain
I immediately became concerned about my liver,
quit
drinking
completely and went to the gp for tests. Blood tests came back normal and an ultrasound was also normal so my gp was not concerned. However the pain has persisted.

At onset of bleed, Hubby immediately
quit
drinking
, is eating a recommended plant-based diet, but is now experiencing a maddening itch at night. I called our Gastroenterologist to see how this should be treated and hubby was sent for a full metabolic panel of labs again.

How I got my BFP
I didn't
quit
drinking
- but I only drank on special occasions, there were a fair amount of those in the summer; I thought it was important to also ensure I was enjoying myself and not be too strict on myself.

One year nicotine free
Today marks one year. It has not been easy, well... the quit part was, the anxiety that was left behind has not been. But it is getting more manageable. When I quit, I read a lot about people relapsing, how hard and unlikely it would be to quit on the first try. I am so glad that I surpassed those odds

After my blood test showed elevated AST ALT I
quit
drinking
, had a ultrasound and fibroscan which concluded that not only did I not have any fat on my liver but that it was smooth and completely healthy.

Poorly this Christmas
Well folks, I like to start by wishing you all a very happy Christmas, I do hope you all had lots of fun and spread the joy to all your family and friends. I, however, have had a rough one...started a over a week ago when I caught the “flu bug” (lucky me!) then as I was fighting to eliminate this I

I’m new here, joined for other groups but saw this and just thought I’d offer something up on just about the only thing I’ve ever succeeded at! 30 years of 20-30 a day habit , on 6th January 2018 after reading the Allen Carr book for the third time I threw tobacco, tin and everything in the bin at teatime

I’m new here and I have to quit smoking for my health
Hi everyone, I’ve smoked for over 40 years, I gave up a few years ago from September to December, I used an e-cigarette and I was fine, when hubby went out for a smoke I’d go too just to smell the fresh smoke because I loved that smell...on Christmas Day, after a lovely dinner I said I was going to “

I feel myself slipping and I'm so tempted
I'm turning here for support. I've been experiencing very intense cravings all day today. I figured i should try to talk it out here before lighting up. I'm tired, I'm in pain, and I'm depressed. I am also suffering a bad break up alone in silence because i can't tell anyone (long story) This person

On the 9th day she almost caved but stood firm and said NO! ❤
Today has been so difficult, the last 2 hours I've been debating lighting up. But i didn't, I'm still craving so decided to check in here instead. I remember the last few quits it always seemed to be really hard around day's 10-12 for me. I visited the ENT 2 days ago and he put a scope down my nose into

What now? Starting to lose hope
Hello, I joined this forum on impulse cause I saw it and I really want to quit smoking. The trouble is I haven't done anything about quitting for 2 years at least & I have no idea or inspiration about what to try next. I smoke more the more stressed I am. This is a problem cause I have mental health

Hey! It’s been quite awhile since I last posted but here I am all smoke free and ish! I honestly no longer count but the app gives me milestone reminders. Aside from occasional wheezing, I often forget that nicotine was such a big part of my life. No cravings, I can smell people’s breath even when
