I’m new here, joined for other groups but saw this and just thought I’d offer something up on just about the only thing I’ve ever succeeded at! 30 years of 20-30 a day habit , on 6th January 2018 after reading the Allen Carr book for the third time I threw tobacco, tin and everything in the bin at teatime and I’ve never looked back. No one is more surprised than me that I did it. The book just resonated this time and I’ve had some tough deals since but literally just thought how is having a fag going to make this better? I did not feed the monster and I now cannot bear the smell. I can honestly say I will never smoke again.
