Safest way to loose weight
I have
quit
drinking
, which is great but I still have to have lose weight (loads, like 100lbs). I thought quitting drinking was hard, but compared to keeping on a diet I find it easy; there's a simple goal with sobriety (don't drink), but a dozen variables with diet (have you had enough fruit?

Signs of compensating?
He
quit
drinking
immediately, his belly has gone down a lot, he’s not as jaundiced as he was, he’s eating a very low sodium and organic diet (fruit, veggies, a little lean meat, protein smoothies). He feels and looks so much better. Are these positive signs that his liver is compensating?

I hate thinking of titles
His is caused from
drinking
and he
quit
immediately, he’s been sober 74 days today. My question is, is there still time for more improvement possibly? The ascites is gone, jaundice is just barely there, his appetite is fantastic, though he is tired a lot some days.

AFIB - CHEST PAINS
I am 32 years old and had my first AFIB episode around 4 months ago, this was heavily due to lifestyle, smoking,
drinking
and in particular stress. Since then I have
quit
smoking,
drinking
and caffeine so I am taking positive steps in the right direction.

Really bad insomnia
4 nights now without sleep. I am trying so hard but this is doing my head in. I have loads to do tomorrow and I know it won't go well. I can't really understand if this is the champix or something else. I had some disturbed sleep right at the beginning , but ster the 1st week, waking up was the problem

Exercise & cardiomyopathy
I am 58 years old who
quit
smoking before 4 years and stopped
drinking
since May 2018. Life style changes of cutting down salt intake with a fluid restriction of 1 litre/per day was imposed right from day one. A review within a month reduced my LVEF to 36%.

Don’t diet, eat healthy- tips and tricks.
I had been drinking milk all my life like everyone else so I never realized until I
quit
drinking
it. Don’t take companies word-When it comes to food companies, especially meat, dairy and sugar industry, their top priority is making profits, not your long term health.

A Bad Day
I
quit
drinking
a year ago to avoid that after becoming a "social drinker" in 2008 and an alcoholic by 2010...and now I'm hung over on, I suppose, some depressing medications that takes a bit to allow a functioning mind.

Fld, strange symptoms. Like info.
To be honest, I
quit
drinking
by God's grace in 2000. But I picked up a fairly hardcore Vicodin habit. Than after quitting that, gained weight. I'm an old punk rocker lady and regret these choices. My symptoms started w vague stomachaches that I attributed to age.

quit
drinking
, consuming cocaine, started taking Clonazepam, Paroxetine and Bupropion (pardon me if those are not the exact names in English).

For example after night of
drinking
(and I almost
quit
whole alcohol except special occasions, about month ago. So tolerance is zero) friends slowly gave in, i finished about 7 beers, 2 shots in 6 hour span and went home. I was home at about 2AM.. and couldnt sleep right away .

Failed cycle...looking for advice
I am 35, I don't smoke, I have
quit
social
drinking
, I eat well...I just don't understand. This is also putting so much stress on my relationship. Just wondered if anyone has advice about what to do after finding out no embryos made it to even transfer? Thanks so much.

Do people with liver disease normally experience swollen blue veins in the hands/arms/chest?
Since then, I've
quit
drinking
and sugar, lost weight and force fed myself huge amounts of spinach, and my enzymes have improved, but what I want to know about is my VEINS.
