Brother passed away

Hi all.... Here is a sad news my brother passed away last night after vomiting blood. He was doing fine for a month and we all were relaxed but just after two years of his diagnosis he left us. It was alcohol which has to be blamed. And cirrhosis is a miserable disease. Please quit drinking to all those who are still drinking after their diagnosis. Thanks

I'm so sorry to hear your very sad news. I can empathise with you as in 2010 my sister died aged 41 of alcoholic hepatitis, variceal bleeding which ultimately caused an MI. She too seemed to be improving, having been in ICU, she ended up having further catastrophic bleeds. It is so tragic that people are taken due to a horrid addiction, which often takes away the person you love long before they actually die. You are then left to watch them suffer.

I hope that you have plenty of support to manage your grief.

Hi Red50, yes it's ok to take, my hep told me first thing to take I take Centrum silver with cirrhosis since 2015 when I was first diagnose especially when I don't get all the daily vitamin I need hope this helps and good luck.

My youngest brother died on 4 January but we were kind of expecting it as his weight loss was very evident and his stomach so extended where fluid was building up.
