Has anyone tried Infrared light therapy

Hi fellow fighters and caregivers. We are waiting for pathology report to see what treatment options are left for my father. Please see previous posts for history. My father is currently only on Lupron and supplements. This waiting game is frightening and i want to do the most that I can to prevent spread. I personally have tried IR light therapy it is amazing for detox, weight loss and the cardiovascular system, it apparently also helps with killing cancer cells. I have read about this but i was wondering if anyone on HealthUnlocked has tried this treatment?

Are you thinking IR saunas ? Or just light therapy like these from SOTA - sota.com/lightworks.html - there is another manufacturer that makes a really big one you hang on the wall.

I am not sure if you can buy it without having bought Square One.. but Chris at chrisbeatcancer.com He has an advanced Protocols course where he talks about different therapy and this is one of them. I really liked the advanced Protocols course as it adds a lot of tools and additions to alternative treatment.. or integrative treatment.

My husband does ozone saunas. I think this has really helped. I think sweating is really important and with his mobililty issues from the neuropathy from chemo the only time he sweats is in the sauna.

I have considered getting a good dry sauna.. but do not have the space yet.. might try to make some space.

Are you doing oral high vitamin C treatment ? It is cheap and worthwhile to try. It is not as good as IV vitamin C but lower in cost and my be helpful

For sure get him sweating if you can. It is a good detox.

Tons of hugs and prayers!

I think it is very important to take particular note of the Disclaimer made at the bottom of the page on the "thetruthaboutcancer" website, and to ponder its implications.

Infrared light near and far. I will check out the ozone sauna. My father doesn’t have much of tolerance to heat so I have found a place 45 min away that has a IR light POD (similar to tanning bed) but your head remains outside. Your body heats up from inside out and sweating begins the last 10-12 min of a 40 min session. He hasn’t tried it yet, but at this point anything is better then Lupron only!!

Thank you! Many hugs to you as well!!

It sounds worth a try. The head outside the sauna should help a lot. I know with our steam(ozone) sauna.. the head is outside of the unit and it is more tolerable.

What Brand do you recommend for the high dose Vitamins C

in reply toDaddysdaughter

Might be tough if he doesn’t like heat much.

PS - for the Oral vitamin C, do you have a brand recommendation? He takes the Costco gummy 1000mg/day because he hates the tablets. He also has chewable kind 1000mg (full of sugar 😬)I’m sure the absorption is minimal! It’s really tough getting him to add or do any additional supplement. He hates it. He also hates smoothies... i really have tried to encourage him as much as possible to eat a plant based diet. But.. he also needs to enjoy life a bit!

Make sure you get Non-GMO vitamin C. I will try to link an article.. The gist of the therapy is for 8 hours.. every hour take as much vitamin C orally as you can handle until you reach bowel tolerance.(Diarrhea) or lots of gas. For instance start with 2-3 grams an hour. . but take it every hour. If you are ok.. the next day add an additional gram an hour. Once you reach bowel tolerance back it off 10% and that is the amount you take every hour.

The idea is that every hour your body is getting a high dose vitamin C for 8 hours. While it is not as good as IV vitamin C.. it stays in your body longer.

Now I am off to see if I can find the article.

PS. I just buy cheap Vitamin C crystals for this.. the less additives the better. You can also do this yourself when you feel a cold coming on.

Just another tool to add to your toolbox of remedies.

Hardest thing in the world to change another’s diet if they’re not into it. I say Let him enjoy what he likes, unless it’s super bad, that different.. keep him happy.. if possible.. that’s all that matters . His daily happiness.......

You guys are looking out for him. He’s in good hands. We only have one dad. Cherish him....

Here is the article

I understand what you are going through. I could get my dad to take the chewable vitamin C but I doubt he would have drank this stuff. My Dad was a true meat and potatoes man..but He did love soup... any time of the year! You can add TONS of vegetables to soup.

Daddysdaughter in reply tosoftwaremom00

Oh.. ok Yes no drinking anything he will definitely say no. I will look into the crystals. My father just likes to enjoy his food but he never overindulgent. Thank you so much for all this information hope your husband is doing well 🙏🏻

Mmmmmm,....soup....

in reply to

My friends wife told me that she does not like soup. I’ve never met anybody that doesn’t like soup before..

Hey Daddysdaughter ! Oh yaaah! Infared. Got one a few yrs old that had not been sat in for $900 .. my naturalpathic has one in office and says that it’s beneficial for anyone but especially those of us battling cancers of any type. Not just that.. but as many of us suffer joint and body pains, ...the sauna melts the pains , you sweat of toxins and get a general feeling of daily help, and well being. A study in Sweden says that it’s almost impossible to have a heart attack while in a sauna.. Sleep improves also.. I see no downside if he’s into it. The man I got mine from on Craigslist never used it. Didn’t help him much.. I’m going in mine tonight for 30mins at top heat 143, you sweat it out... good to hear from you , salute to PaPa!

I’ve used an infrared sauna for years at the office(chiropractic) and at home. It’s been said that raising ones body temperature is like being in a febrile state, and that this stimulates the immune system and helps the body fight cancer cells. I had a patient who bought (IR sauna) one years ago and treated himself at home for a herniated disc. He swore that the IR healed his herniated disc and he avoided doing surgery. Im a proponent for using IR as an adjunct to any form of treatment one is doing to enhance the immune system and reduce the toxic load on the body; coffee enemas are another way to reduce toxins in the body by sweating them out through the skin system. Stan AZ/AK.

in reply tostdcdabci

Well put Stan. Soon Az will be a dry sauna.

Do you think it has made any impact to PSA or cancer growth?

in reply toDaddysdaughter

I believe everything that we do might have an impact. It’s good for cardio and joint and muscle pain . I see Dr 4-30 to get anual results so we will see . Lots of prayers !

It’s certainly difficult to say if it’s diet, meditation, IR , lupron, chemotherapeutic Protocol’s, HIFU, cyrotherapy, prostatectomy, IMRT, or all the above things that we do that’s the best answer for each of us challenged with Pca. I’d like to think that it’s a combination of these things for some, and more or less treatments for others , that ideally optimizes the bodies ability to repel and overcome the tumor loads we are faced with. We have all become familiar knowing that eating more healthy, reducing heavy metals exposure, and minimizing toxic loads in our food/water is a great place to start to promote healing. I have learned that the greater the cancer load is in the body, the more difficult the battle becomes. Optimal immunity is the best we can shoot for along with being fortunate enough to have great doctors giving us their best guidance as we seek complete cancer remission. Emotions I know play a role here, but some of this stuff has got to be difficult to measure. Since the goal of all treatment I think is to reduce PSA and hence cancer growth, I’m satisfied knowing that infrared supports immunity and plays a role in supporting this goal. This is simply my opinion. Stan AZ/AK

Yes, I have used the Clearlight infrared sauna at Hippocrates Health Institute.

The owner is a big believer in far infrared saunas to cause hyperthermia, which has been shown to kill cancer cells. They are everywhere at Hippocrates. I have used them in the past and am considering doing this treatment again. There is a sizable article on this topic in the Hippocrates magazine with more background. Supposedly 20-30 minutes in the *far infrared* sauna a day, 6 days a week is a recommended dose.

Near Red and Red Light are also worth looking into further. I'm still reading up on the subject but it looks promising.

Do NOT use Red light therapy for Any cancer. It stimulates Mitochondria, ATP and many other good things, which will give the cancer more aggressive powers to work with. It is good for Numerous health conditions, but one does not want to stimulate the growth of unhealthy cells.
