ok, I have one of these 8 ft lights! It is for use by Doctors. I used it for a friends leg, for only 20 seconds at a time..with goggles and black cape over her body. Now it says these are good to destroy this virus! anyone know how I use it to be safe with my COPD, Heart Damage, Lung Damage, Diafram Damage. Do I leave my cloths on and 10 sec on the clothes? Do I take my clothes off? Do I just sterilize my rooms with it! If 2 greys is on...Please respond! Any and all respond! Thanks JANET127

Over here in the US it said on Tv this morning about how many people there is over 70 that said they would die, if it helped save the world. I thought about it. Yes..If it came to that..I'd go! Janet127

You know it's been done before according to your religion, Janet, and it didn't work then. We must just battle on regardless. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜˜

Hi Janet. πŸ‘‹

Errr..... Who said it's good to destroy this virus exactly? Or do you mean viruses in general? It is fact that sun light can kill viruses, but not enough is known about Covid 19 yet to make any assumptions . Sources are important to defrientiate between another rumour and fact. I don't know what this 8ft light therapy is exactly. Is it like a sun bed? You said it's a light used by doctors, but for what purpose? I'm a bit confused. What did you use it on your friend's leg for? A bit more detailed info would be helpful. 😊

Having your curtains open is good for your rooms to let the sun in. Keeping your rooms clean and disinfecting them often is very, very good. Because of where I live I am able to open my windows every morning to air out my rooms. If you have a suppressed immune system however, and take steroids regularly, your skin is more susceptible to cancer. Because I take steroids all the time and immuno suppressive drugs, I cannot go out without sun screen and a hat if it's very sunny. Sun beds and tanning myself would be inviting trouble big time. Getting fresh air and natural sunlight / light is wonderful. But be cautious if you are taking steroids or any drugs that suppresses your immune system.

Take care,

Cas xx πŸ¦‹πŸŒΏ

P.S. At the moment it seems the best way to keep ourselves safe is to stay home as much as possible. Avoid crowds and social gatherings. If you have to go out to buy food. etc. do it quickly and go home. Always change your clothes and take a shower. Don't invite company for the time being. No trips or holidays. Just stay put. πŸ‘πŸ˜

Thanks CAS! The light is used by Doctors for Dermatology patients. It is not a Tanning bed. I found online about Cona virus and the lights to steralize...the room? me?? Don't worry I won't use it until I am 100% sure! Janet127

Personally I would suggest not using it at all. It is obvious you do not know what you are doing. This type of equipment can damage you very quickly.

Janet,i looked for signs over the easter horizon and thankfully didn't see any smoke so if you have not yet turned yourself into a piece of toast please unplug your dangerous contraption and lock it away before you do harm to yourself.have a nice day. :)

As above do not do it, it is dangerous in many respects.

Directly to yourself you could get so easily burned by the rays.

It could damage your eyesight.

If you got burned by it then you would need medical attention, possibly hospialization even. Which would undoubtedly have a high risk of exposure to this virus.

Prolonged use could even cause skin cancer.

Please do not use it, it is not worth the risk. It can even severely bleach and dry your hair making it brittle.
