Inhaler disposal-recent advice from our local respiratory services .
Hope this helps folk ? RETURN YOUR USED INHALERS TO A PHARMACY TO HELP REDUCE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT The propellants used in some inhalers are powerful greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. Even after an inhaler is finished it still contains these environmentally damaging gases.

4 emergency hospital trips since February
I've had asthma since I was 6. Was seen at Great Ormond Street and also the Royal Brompton when I nearly died when I was 18. Recently, it really flared up after a nasty respiratory virus that started about the 15th December. Had a steriods and antibiotics. Things didn't improve. January I had a call

NHS On The Ball As Ever, Not.
I recently wrote that at the end of February I spent the day in the emergency dept due to shortness of breath, I'd been advised to go there by the GP surgery. Anyway it was decided after lots of tests it was an exacerbation of my asthma, I was treated with a nebuliser, steroids and a stronger inhaler

Reducing inhaler for spring/summer
I I have been told I can reduce my fostair 100/6 (spriva inhaler 2 puffs once a day too) from 2 puffs twice a day to one puffs twice a day. I I have been on these two inhalers since the beginning of November (when I was in hospital for double pneumonia). Before being on these inhalers I was on Fostair

Might help
Good morning.Just wanted to share a little tip with you about your inhalers. When I was in hospital in Canada I was given an Aero Chamber with a mask. If you don't have one and find it difficult to use your inhalers properly I really recommend you ask your GP to supply one, it makes taking your inhalers

Any tips for getting your breath back ?
watcha! I needed to get a few items from Lidl today. It’s only a short walk and getting there are no inclines. I was walking slowly but got so out of breath I had to stop.
