lithium and bipolar 2
I have had psychiatric treatment with medication and
psychotherapy
that has kept me well enough. During my treatment about 7 years ago I was put on Lithium, a powerful mood stabiliser and antipsychotic.

I prefer to find a psychiatrist who does in person
psychotherapy
. I did see a psychiatrist, but they just wanted to prescribe meds. Has anyone else had a bad reaction to methylprednisolone?

Has anyone here gotten weight restored on their own without going to a nutritionist or eating disorder center?
They have never helped me as far as yes they help me gain the weight but then I don't end up getting my mind changed any even with all the
psychotherapy
so it ends up doing me no good.

proper today (I was with a counsellor before - nice guy but not really able to provide what I needed in terms of tools) and that was good - but scary.

Need online partner(s) who is trying to develop habits for limiting the negative effects of ADHD
Due to several reasons, it is very hard for me to go to a psychologist and get medical treatment or even
psychotherapy
sessions. I made a list of habits that can help me to control the negative effects of ADHD.

Teenager not listening to doctor/therapist
Hello! My 16 year old's psychiatrist suggested that we get him an ADHD coach and said that therapists don't really help. That is fine, but it seems like my teenager is not even complying to psychiatrist's recommendations. I hired a coach who online chats w/ him (cuz it's more affordable) and he sometimes

I wanted to post something I learned not that long ago. Anxiety and gratitude manifest in the exact same place in the brain. If you’re filled with anxiety you have no room for the grateful, I learned this from my therapist and it truly helps me and I’m hoping it will help others. It doesn’t mean you’

very depressed
Hi everyone. I’m Erin and this is my first time joining any type of support group so please forgive me if this is a lengthy post. I’ve been really struggling and I’m hoping this forum could help make a difference. Basically, I’ve felt extremely depressed for the last 4-5 months and can’t seem to shake

I have battled anxiety and depression with slight psychosis, off and on for almost 13 years. Mentally and emotionally I am over the place. I don't usually talk to anyone about my challenges for multiple reasons. One of them being is that I don't want sympathy or pity. Also I know no one I have ever encountered

health anxiety
I need help…. Have been going to a therapist for 4 years…. I look forward to going…. But still have health anxiety…. I wake up most days with anxiety…. A lot of spiraling…. My health concerns always seem real…. But I know I have anxiety related to this…. It is hard for me know if it is just my health

Touchpoint Solutions for ADHD/Focus
My 8 yo daughter was diagnosed with ADHD last year. After a several month wait due to insurance and availability limitations, she is now in therapy and I think it will be very helpful for her. She continues to struggle in school. I hoping to avoid medication if I can, but I also know it will be some
