Endo and neuropathic pain
Hi Have had extensive surgery and have tried Prostap, both to little effect. My consultant thinks my pain is neuropathic. I have been referred to the pain clinic and she has asked my GP to prescribe gabapentin. I have a Tens machine, sometimes this helps. I have tried acupuncture to no avail. I have

Post surgery
I had a laparoscopy at the weekend to treat endometriosis in my bladder and ovaries, and started on Prostap injection. I’m just home yesterday, and feeling pretty awful, and really emotional. My partner has unfortunately been very unsupportive, and I have been left to my own devices. Anyone had both

Waiting for Diagnosis Frustration
Hi I finally got to see a rheumatologist a few weeks ago but was a bit unfortunate in that after a few bouts of being quite unwell I was actually in good form on the day. Sadly this meant that blood tests done on the day were normal except C reactive protein and drvvt. Since then however the near constant

Blue Horizons Blood Results for Thyroid - Please help
Hi all, i've been suffering for the last few years with various menstrual problems and possible Thyroid. I took a Thriva test last year and my antibodies were high but GP disregarded the test. I was referred to Endo who also said I was not hypo. I have had a scalloped tongue for the last two years

Newbie
So, brand new to this forum! I’ve had Gynae probs now for about 6 years, well longer but that’s been the worst. My heavy periods and cramps were eased by the pill (vilest) from I was about 14. I was on that for about 12 years despite having migraines 🙄. When my mum was diagnosed with multiple strokes

Bruise Easily
I don’t know if it’s just me or if anyone else is similar. I was on the prostap injection for 3 months but it has been 6 months since the last one. Still have not had a period. The end of November I underwent deep excision surgery. The recovery has been very up and down but starting to get my life

Private Thyroid and NHS Test
Hi all, I had a nhs standard thyroid test on 7th March also checking for iron, kidneys and liver, possibly B12 not sure, as explained to my G.P feeling tired and lying down during day. I actually already take prescribed iron and have done for past couple years maybe longer. Had iron deficiency on off

Blood results - help! New here
Hi, I'm new here but wondered if anyone could help me work out what's going on. I am seeing an American Dr (Skype) via my nutritionist - not yet ventured to NHS as been put off as 'making it up' for too long - 'although your symptoms suggest underactive Thyroid' .. grrrr! Apologies for the rather long

Comments on test results Of thyroid profile
I have taken thyronorm for one month and results are much better than before. My TSH levels were >100 and now its 13. I have plenty of questions. I want to start weight lifting and exercise, what could be the effects on my thyroid levels? When the levels were way worse, during exercise, i felt pain
