Test results what do they mean? Have gone online so have previous results when I was complaining of fatigue, confusion over last 5 years...
Felt fairly rubbish over the last 2 months- feeling sleepy if sat back unless using the PC, hence watch TV on a night and o stuff on PC otherwise I would drop off, or reach for something to eat to keep me awake! Hence the expanded waistline.... Appreciate your comments - is it the thyroid, B12, or

Obtained my results as advised by the community, after being advised by GP to go for repeat test in 4-6 weeks as borderline thyroid issue...
Hi Just done the repeat blood test for thyroid and as I asked why my B12 was so high they are retesting B12 in case of a mistake in the lab. (I was expecting a low B12, as my sister has B12 injections, she is hypothyroid, Hashimotos and has MS. Mum and auntie also the hypothyroid condition. I don't

And so it begins......
Hi. Diagnosed in August 2018. Age 64. See details in my profile. Started Bicalutamide 1st Sept. Now on Prostap 3 (ADT). Sadly our daughter passed away unexpectedly in October. This was a devastating shock following on so soon after my diagnosis. This has affected us both massively and I think the hormone

so I have been on Pristiq for about 5 weeks. I really haven't noticed any benefit. I will continue for a couple more weeks, but if no improvement, i'd like to wean off. I am on 50 mg, have anyone weaned off and what was your schedule and withdrawal symptoms?

Reducing Inflammation...and sleep
In this interesting article giving tips on reducing inflammation, it mentions a study that actually proves that "bad sleep triggers a range of inflammatory markers to increase, including C-reactive protein (CRP)" and that "Quality sleep is an essential component of any plan to lower inflammation." https

Medicine is working I think- it feels weird...
Hi everyone! I have had anxiety/depression for a few years now and have tried multiple medicines. I just got a new psychiatrist a few months ago and with her I started taking Pristiq (my third try at an SSRI). I don't want to get ahead of myself in case it's just a spoof, but I think the medicine is

Prostap 11.25mg
Had the 3 month prostap injection 4 days ago as I’m having a hysterectomy in Feb due to stage 4 endo and good god, don’t know whether this is a good post or a crazy one, but I feel like I’m on speed... I’ve gone from an exhausted old hag and I’m only 46 to a child who has so much energy I can’t stand

Impact of nutritional status on the prognosis of patients with metastatic hormone-naïve prostate cancer
New study from Japan. Interesting to note non-PCa tests that may affect mortality. "The baseline GNRI [Geriatric Nutritional Risk Index] was calculated using serum albumin level and body mass index." There are now countless PCa studies that report an association between high BMI [body mass index] & poorer

OCD and anxiety
Hello everyone. Wish everyone on here is having a blessed morning. I’ve been struggling the last few days, I guess cause I have a bit on my mind. I have my social security hearing next week, and I guess sitting in front of a judge when one has ocd, anxiety , and depression can be a bit overwhelming

Prostap injections are they the same same as having a Hysterectomy????
Hi , I am currently on prostap injections I have been since feb, think I am on my 6th injection. I tried the 3 month and the 1 month injection and the 1 month is less side effects for me . The question is are prostap injections the same as having a full Hysterectomy? My gyno says it is and if

Anyone been prescribed 2 Cerelle tablets daily?!
So I was diagnosed earlier this year with Endometriosis in the cervix and rectum, after years of very heavy and painful periods. Just before insisting I be referred to Gynae, my Doctor put me on the Cerelle pill which apparently is meant to stop your periods completely but for me it made my periods

New diagnosis Hashimotos help with next steps!
Hi im 28 and just been diagnosed with hashimotos - I do hope someone might be able to help me. Since August I've suffered with globus sensation after a period of high stress and anxiety. Eventually went to the doctor in September and stated that as it felt like a tightening and lump around my thyroid
