Another miracle cure :)
Any opinions on sodium chloro acetate. I am anxious to try an herbicide on my cancer :) but seriously if you google a bit there is some sense to the explanations as to how it might help to reduce cancer. Anyone try this

What do you think?
I’ve been on Lupron and Xgeva since 2014 and have had many other treatments along the way. As my PSA rose I found my best treatment was Xtandi. I had pretty good results from 2017 to 2020 , then my PSA moved upward again. Looks like I’m going to fail with Nubeqa, which I have been on for 2 1/2 months

Cancer return alert without scan or PSA ?
I'm more curious than anything to hear if you knew the cancer had returned somehow before any scan or blood test really told you? Pain? Bladder issues? Other signs ??? I'm wondering how many really knew somehow or sensed it and it was later confirmed ? Most people are very in-tuned to their own body

Radiation at low PSA levels
I saw an article or a feed somewhere for starting radiation for recurrence after RP that salvage radiation at around 0.05 level provides a higher potential for cure vs. waiting until it rises to 0.20+. Has anyone seen this article or statistic? Tx

Next steps after PBRT
Hi all - First and foremost, Happy Holidays. I had my prostate removed 8/22, with subsequent Proton Beam treatment ending 4/23 (after PSA did not drop to undetectable) brought upon after a mild uptake (during a Petscan) in an obturator lymph node. I’m on Orgovyx and Xtandi, with a plan to stay on them

Anti thyroglobulin Antibody High
I'd a mole removed from my right shoulder blade last November that was initially feared to be cancerous, but thankfully wasn't so. Since then I have an annoying pain in my right upper abdomen. Have had an endoscopy( am awaiting report but consultant didn't seem overly concerned) had a cystoscopy which

Lynparza - warning!
I'm writing this in pure agony in hopes, that it might help someone in the future. My father is castrate resistant and when Xtandi stopped working, his MO put him on dexamethasone + abiraterone + Lynparza (olaparib). This combo is now registered in European Union even for men without BRCA mutation

Pluvicto damaging salivary glands?
Finished 6 rounds of Pluvicto 9-1-23. Now on ADT holiday since 1-1-24, psa unmeasurable so far. During the treatment, had increasingly serious drymouth and nasal congestion and irritation with bleeding, which I attributed to radiation damage. Since then, there has been some, slow improvement, but still

High Gleason score + .2 PSA
Want to share this link about when to start salvage radiation after surgery. Only a few years ago, the cutoff PSA for starting radiation was .5 Now, my doc and others want to start before it gets to .2 (I'm at .11, and I have a "risk factor" due to Gleason 9 score) https://www.cancernetwork.com/view

What testosterone test should I get in my final blood test prior to HT starting?
Hi All, I intend on getting my own blood test that will form the baseline for how the future HT is working. When it comes to getting testosterone tests, I note there are a few to select from. Which one should I get from the following list? 1: Testosterone Free/Total + SHBG 2: Testosterone Total

ADT Checklist (Before, During, After)
Here's a checklist that our UsToo Prostate Cancer support group in Colorado put together. Use it when talking with your doctors. It addresses the questions of what you should do before, during and after you receive ADT treatments such as Lupron, Firmagon etc. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NGdwZtBRzbop3UExdIIGJUM4tDtcFxyQ

Working while receiving Docetaxel
Does anyone have experience in working while receiving Docetaxel? Also, what was your experience with hair loss, fatigue etc.? Any long term survivors after doing this treatment? Thanks, trying to get some answers because pretty anxious at this point when chemo may be my next best option.

bicalutamide no longer as effective?
After more than two years of bicalutamide monotherapy and repeated PSA<0.1 I just received a 0.6. Before the bicalutamide my PSMA scan showed activity in only the seminal vesicle region. PSA was 2.5 at that time. Lupron had ceased being effective. Bicalutamide had a terrific response. I don’t think PSMA

Remission
In remission since May 2018. All PSA testing from oncologist has ranged from .04 to .05. Why not have my internist take my PSA yearly? Or is going to my oncologist for testing the better way to go?

still here
Hi All I like to try and update my journey so you can see that there are some longer term survivors. I am still on 0 PSA with advanced cancer. My journey is on my bio. I was diagnosed at 47 and now I’m 54 with no progression. My primary treatment was Zytiga and it is still working. I take a concoction

FG-3246 shows promising results in phase 1 trial
As mono therapy "data from the study showed that 36% of evaluable patients experienced at least a 50% reduction in prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels from baseline. Among RECIST-evaluable patients, 20% demonstrated a partial response or a reduction in tumor size of at least 30%. The median duration
