IDS claims he can live on £53 a week.
By last night almost 300,000 people had signed an online petition challenging Mr Duncan Smith to survive on £53 a week, or £7.57 a day, after he insisted he could "if I had to". It was set up when David Bennett, a market trader, told BBC Radio 4 that the sum was all he had to live on after his housing

How can I help my daughter
My 26 year old daughter has been dealing with alopecia since she was about 10. It started with bald spots which would regrow, only for a new one to develop. Over the years the bald spots grew bigger and more frequent until now she has alopecia universalis with not a hair on her body and has been told

History of my psoriasis
Ariund 1990, |I discovered some strange areas on my right leg. Before I knew it, It was all over my body, and to my horror in my scalp. I was soon launched into a regime of assorted creams and portions. It became part of my life to apply this medication. I didn't have the internet at the time

Help needed for infections
I get frequent water infections due to scarring on my bladder from endo ops. I've been having Cystistat installations but they are causing more discomfort than the infections. Has anyone got any suggestions for what to try next?

Are Coeliacs able to have a Proctography examination done when the mix they use is essentially gluten?
I have to have a Proctography examination done 2moz for a suspected Rectal Prolapse but to do this examination they mix barium with flour/oats and then place this inside your rectum...you then have to pass this mixture. I'm concerned that even though I wont be absorbing all of it, it will still kick

Morning Morning Gin Van Wrinkle calling first problem of the day is...........
What sort of moisturiser does any one recommend for extremely dry skin. Van wrinkle have so many rinkles they have considered goose fat to emulsify with but the Giant has hidden the goose that lays the golden egg so the van wrinkles need something other than poly filler (she has used this before applying

Starting to panic
Just been to a really lovely GP who fully supports fibro care. However she is really worried about some of my symptoms such as my left side weakness and other stuff. She wants be back tomorrow for a full neurological examination and has signed me off for a fortnight again. That's 5 weeks off in total

Childhood Memory Blanks
Saw an old school photo from 1957 recently (juniors). Even then I remember having memory blanks. Teacher would be talking, but I had no idea what was being said until I clicked back on again if that makes sense. I had abdominal migraine then and the teacher was very worried about me. The doctor

GF for 20 months and hair still shedding. Thanks.
Among the many symptoms I had before diagnosis was hairloss. The shedding is not in patches it's thinning all over. I was told by the doctor I had male pattern balding. He come to this conclusion without even looking at my head and I had my hair tied up. I wasn't in the least convinced about this as

Have you or your child experienced hair loss?
Are you noticing more hair loss when brushing or washing your hair? Are many strands coming away easily? Or have you noticed bald patches early in life? Hair loss can be the result of heredity conditions, certain medications or an underlying medical condition. Anyone — men, women and children — can

Hair Loss
Hi Everyone I would be very grateful for advice on hair loss which is getting a bit scary now. I don't have bald patches and thankfully as I had good thickish hair I am not showing any baldness, however I can't sustain the daily loss indefinately. I have been to my Doctor providing photographic proof

Hair loss
Hair loss I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and Hashimoto's 2 years ago at 27 years old. Since taking my medication most of my symptoms seemed to improve slightly although I suffered 3 miscarriages in those 2 years and feel that my thyroid played a big part in this as my levels are quite erratic
