Ackkermancia. Is it dangerous in parkinson.
Am I crazy for considering this probiotic. I have read it is unclear if this bacteria makes parkinson disease worse, or perhaps is compensatory change that is attempting to improve Parkinsonās disease, or is just getting more common as people age. I think it is clear it is higher in number the worse

New to Making My Own PS-128 Yogurt ~ Questions
Hello All ~ I have started making PS-128 Yogurt. It turns out kind of like kefir which my HwP says is ok. And as a side note, I am using A2A2 full fat milk and my Instant Pot on the 24 hour cycle. Iām making a 2-quart batch and using Ā½ cup of my previous batch plus one Bened Life PS-128 capsule.

IBS meds not working....
Hello, I have been struggling with an IBS flare for 3 months, I'm taking Alverine and Peppermint capsules. My GP has checked for celiac disease which thankfully was normal, had my poo checked twice, bloods are fine except for inflammation markers slightly raised, checked my thyroid but it's fine as

probiotics for people with a compromised immune system.
https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/992453 Having just bought various forms of probiotic to support me while taking antibiotics, this article gave me pause for thought. Have only skim read, but it appears that we are one of the groups where there might be a contraindication.

Florajen Probiotic
I recently had my annual physical exam for anal cancer that was diagnosed in 2017. Good news! Still NED! The surgeon who performed the exam recommended something that has helped with diarrhea and thus the incontinence that goes along with it. A probiotic called Florajen. The key word is helped. I haven't

I am in the throws of reading Chris van Tulleken's book Ultra-Processed People. It has been an eye opener. Not that one hasn't been aware of the harms of processed food but perhaps one has been unaware at how extensive it is and also how seemingly malicious for corporate gain? What does come out is

Tinitus/ Ringing in ears
Is there a link between tinitus and thyriod conditions please? Anyone have experience of this. Google tells me there is a link. Never had this before in my life, started 5 days ago a high pitched ringing in my ears driving me crazy. Actually booked for a thyriod scan tomorrow which my gp referred for

So much Wind!
Why is it that no matter what I eat 1 or 2 hours later I have dreadful wind! Nothing top end all rear end. So this year I'm afraid to go to any Xmass party's it is just too embarrassing. So loud, so long I could be an elephant!! At least no smell?? My husband is so keen to go, so I must "control myself

Long term food intolerance and diet
I then consulted a Nutritionist who put me on a course of
Probiotics
and got me to go gluten free, wheat free and oats free. Over the years that followed this new food plan was widened and now includes a range of vegetables too and other dry grocery foods et al.

Please can I pick the brains of those of you on here who are far more knowledgeable than me. A dietician (not an expert on RD) has recommended that I drink 2 bottles of Actimel a day. I am rather confused as my understanding is that the problem is that my immune system is too active and is attacking

Physical (not behavioural) causes for constipation?
I honestly thought constipation and soiling was in our past but sadly itās become an issue again for my 7 year old. š My daughterās movicol dose has rapidly doubled, weāre back to toilet sits after breakfast and dinner yet sheās started to soil again, and we just seem to be swinging between big piles

My gut has settled a little. I started taking Alflorex plus probiotic &, with guidance from my dietician, we've been experimenting with my diet, basically low fodmap.
