Hello
Hi, I'm new here and although I've lurked on forums in the past, I've decided to join. I've been plagued for years with IBS and despite overhauling my diet and lifestyle, and trying everything from the gp, I still suffered to some extent. A few months ago, I started taking Alflorex precisionbiotics

Highly recommended read
Hi I'm new here and I would really recommend a book called "TISSUE CLEANSING THROUGH BOWEL MANAGEMENT" I'm not plugging this (whilst available on Amazon, this is actually quite old and available online as free pdf download if you Google search!) Worth reading, and when you see the xray pictures of diverticulitis

New study below. Popular interest in the gut microbiome is probably due to Dr. David Perlmutter, a neurologist & author of "Brain Maker: The Power of Gut Microbes to Heal and Protect Your Brain–for Life" (2015) [2]. One might ask if there is more to this than taking a daily probiotic, or even a prebiotic

We're The Gut Stuff, on a mission to debunk the fads & de-mystify the science behind good gut health and it's positive impact.
Scientists are now discovering that there's now lots of different bugs and bacteria living within our body, that we also need to feed with
probiotics
and
probiotics
and in speaking to food specialists and scientists we’ve realised that Kale isn't actually good for us unless cooked in fat and loads more

B12 and folate
Hi all Apologies as I think this has been answered a few times (Clivealive I am talking to you here!). I had a B12 of under 180 a few months ago. Same story as many. Had bad neuro symptoms but after 6 doses doctor refused any more for 3 months. Am exploring other options with B12 but also just noticed

IBS Sufferer
I have had IBS for about 20 years. I think I have been prescribed every medicine for it, with none of them really working! I suffer really badly with constipation and bloating, which can be extremely painful. I also get terrible trapped wind, which is painful and also embarrassing. I was recently diagnosed

Not sure...
The nurse gave me
probiotics
which didn't work. So 2 weeks before school started we saw a real doctor. She told me I was constipated. I didn't tell her that I was starving myself though. She gave me a laxative and gave me
probiotics
. They don't work. I'm going to school now, and it's very hard.

Stomach issues
Just thought I would share this in case others suffer the same issue. For quite some time now I've been having full fat probiotic live culture yoghurt with blueberries and a drizzle of honey for breakfast. If course from time to time you get a bit bored with having the same thing day after day, however

It might help someone...
Hi everyone, I started with behcet's symptoms around 8 years ago, diagnosed 4 years ago but nothing really happened since then, still asking to be referred to a centre of excellence and still waiting. I don not have any medication. So over the years and with the help of this forum, I've been trying different

remission gca?
Maybe down to the
probiotics
I take? I usually get up 2x a night, but now 3-4 times, so sleep disrupted. I must stress; I had no fatigue prior to diagnosis, nor since. I advise all of you on low doses Pred.
