Good morning Boysie, sorry to see that you are worried about pc s, , I too have them ,about 4/5 per minute, these have been captured by Holter recordings, I am assured by the medics that this is normal, I am being treated for Paf, you really should see your doctor to discuss further as it’s causing you distress. Ectopic beats are very common in fact everybody gets them up to 200 a day. They are benign but annoying especially when the numbers are high. If you search for "Ectopic breathing exercise" there is a very good slow deep breathing trick which many people find can stop them quite quickly.
Taking magnesium may help - Search on here (box top right of screen) for details on what to take etc, in previous posts.
Hi Boysie, yes I am suffering badly with them at the moment. I am due to have a multi lead 24 hour monitor next week to see exactly where they are coming from. I have tried everything suggested with no luck the only answer for me is to keep busy and try to take my mind off them. When I had my post ablation appointment in February they were caught on the ECG and are ventricular ectopics the EP was not too concerned about them but ordered the 24 hour monitor. Hope you manage to get some relief somehow, they are horrid but apparently benign.

I get them from artificial sweeteners like aspartame and sucralose. I can't even chew a piece of gum with aspartame, that will set them off. I also had to go gluten free because that will get them going as well. I also have to limit my alcohol and make sure it is gluten free whatever I drink. I do not have Celiac disease but am obviously gluten sensitive.
Sorry never heard of PCV regarding heart issues? What does it stand for? I only knew PCV as Polyvinyl chloride, did not know it also stood for Premature ventricular contractions.
I had to look it up.
Lye down and take deep breaths normally help them, they’re bloody horrible mate
