Post ablation weakness

I had my second heart ablation on Tuesday for bigeminy / frequent PVCs . I had a post op groin bleed and almost fainted 6 hours after the procedure - i am home now but feel extremely weak, tired and a bit dizzy when I am upright . My resting heart rate is currently 56-60! I am sure I can still feel palpitations! My consultant felt this second ablation was a success- I feel terrible!

Very early days, and having a problem with the groin will not have helped. If you had a GA that will also take time to get out of your system. Just try an relax, not easy I know, but if the problems continue, contact the Arrythmia Nurse or the EP’s secretary. However, odd blips, palpitations and ectopics are not unusual during the healing process which can take a while......

drink plenty of fluids, give your leg time to heal as well as your heart, relax and enjoy being looked after if possible. Tell people you have been stabbed in the leg and there was blood everywhere - should be good for a cream cake or two for next fortnight.

Hai..how was your bigeminy and pvcs? Disappeared? I’m also having PACs bigeminy after ablation..same as pre ablation..feeling very sad..

Nope ! Still banging away 😩- back on 100mg flecainide in evening and 50 in the morning- even that is not working like it did before 😵- back to cardiology dept in August- here we go again .......

Sorry to hear that.. me too..medication all failed..wish EP will prescribe another medication at least can reduce our bigeminy..
