Beta blockers and antihistamines?
It's that time of year again, but I feel this year I need to be extra careful with my choice in hayfever remedies. I'm currently taking daily doses of: 1.25mg Bisoprolol 20mg Rivaroxaban 2mg Diazepam I asked my local pharmacist what antihistamines I could take and they said Cetirizine Hydrochloride

IBS - pain under left rib coming and going - misery!
Hi all, I have only just recently been diagnosed with IBS - though I think I have probably had it for a long time…! Right now - its causing me misery…… And yes - its much worse in the evenings. I tend to get relief from it overnight. I am also a real stickler for not taking too many meds, I don't

BP and heart rate
Investigated last year, nothing really discovered but prescribed atenolol which works too well. On Friday was not feeling great so I took my BP and was 153/95. Pulse 90 something. During evening climbed as high as 172/110 pulse 98. Phoned doctor who told me not to worry but come in Monday. Took 2x2mg

Anxiety self help
To cut a long boring story short, for 6 months I was led to believe that a diagnosis of svt for random palpitations was correct. After tests I was told it wasn't my heart but probably anxiety. I've been quite pro active & tried to deal with it without meds, joined the gym, started to sort my social

Anxious all day, goes away in evening
I wake up anxious every morning between 4 and 5 am. Heart racing. i have been struggling with this for 4 years. Started when my daughter and her kids moved out because of boyfriend. I have never been without them. Suffered such loneliness and financial problems. Take lorazepam off and on. I

Chronic anxiety
I hate feeling like this way. Last night I totally convinced myself that I found a lump in my breast, today my husband checked and can't feel anything. I check them all the time, like some crazy obcession. It was also the day before my period, so obviously they were lumpy! How on earth do we get over

I would like to introduce myself as I am new to the pain forum. I suffer from chronic back pain for which there is no operation. I have had two separate years with the pain clinic. I had two lots of injections in my facet joints which didn't work so I only rely on medication. About 5 years ago I was

The Art of Staying Positive..... and other impossible things!
So, i haven't posted for a while, as i had reached a status quo of sorts. I've been seeing the same GP and building a good relationship with him, and we were working on tweaking my medication so that i was having large periods during the day where i only had what i call "background pain". This was a

Anxiety Disorder and Panic Attacks
Hi, I am 18 years old and have been suffering from panic attacks and anxiety since NYE (2014) due to my cousin passing away Christmas Morning. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had the feeling as if your soul is leaving your body (best way I can describe it), it feels like I'm dying when this
