What's worked for me
I now take 1000 mg of
Potassium
Citrate
(about 1 teaspoon powder)....this gets my
potassium
intake up to 3000-3500 mg most days....the rda is 4700 but it's dangerous to take too much so I'm careful. I also take Magnesium Citrate and rub magnesium oil on my legs at night.

Short sleep, awake, snack then much better sleep
Morning All I hope you can give me some advice or confirm my action. I have been having RLS for many years now but for the past 10 days I have had a lot of problems keeping asleep. I'm on 0.25 Ropinerole and every night I go to bed and within the hour I'm awake and my legs is playing games. Normally

What do I need to ask my GP for full blood test
I was newly diagnosed in January this year with Thyroid peroxidase antibody level 109IU/mL <60.00 IU/mL which I believe means I am Hashimoto's! However my Plasma TSH level was not high enough to be medicated 4.38 mU/L 0.30-4.20mU/L I posted my January blood results previously. I have an appointment

your Feet can Contribute to rls
I have been doing research about RLS and what studies have been going on. After over 20 years of sufferings, I am not taking this kicking around anymore. I have taken some advice from some forum contributors, "taking Calcium Citrate and Vit B!" . I think it is helping some and I read about a study

Acid levels and kidney disease
One of the causes for kidney deterioration can be from high acid levels. That is one of my main issues. It is called metabolic acidosis. In my case it is caused from having psoriatic arthritis. Many people try changing their acid level by eating certain alkaline foods (chart of alkaline foods https:/

RLS & Magnesium Citrate
My partner has suffered with RLS for 3 years . He was initially taking Roprinole but unable to sit down at all during the day. By request he saw a consultant at Kings College hospital , London who prescribed Neuro patches which did help initially but left him with weeping sore skin. We read about Magnesium

Does anyone take "Magnesium Citrate Calm" for severe and chronic IBS-C..has it helped?
Had to go yet again to ER for an enema for impaction/constipation. Doctor's office could not get me in, and they would have sent me to ER anyway. Have had "C" since childhood, but it became worse (my Digestive system shut down) after coming off cold turkey off prescribed Opiods. I was on the lowest dose

B12 injections discontinued
Hi there I had B12 deficiency diagnosed a couple of years ago, and as it wasn’t diet related, my GP put me on lifelong B12 injections even though he didn’t feel I really needed them as IFA was negative (this was in Hull following HEY guidelines I suppose). He was very dismissive of my neurological symptoms
