Another autoimmune disease, gahhhhh
Hi! Recently diagnosed with RA. I can barely get around and the pain is crazy. I'm going to see a Rheumatologist on the 19th, which can't come soon enough! I fought for 18 years with Myasthenia Gravis and I'm finally in remission only for this to happen. I've lost the pep in my step and I'm praying the

I'm new here
I've only just found this site. It's such a relief to read some of the posts and replies as I thought I was being super ungrateful and pathetic. On the 19th September I returned from dropping my daughter at her new uni and suffered what I thought was indigestion. I did nothing as it passed. Ironically

Getting off medication without bad withdrawals
Hi everyone, I had PPP in June 2015, a month in MBU and sent home with olanzapine to take for a year and started on sertraline for depression. Finally free of olanzapine but the withdrawals were awful. The insomnia being the worst. I was given zolpidem to help with sleep but after a month on sleeping

Any youtubers?
Hello everyone, I thought I might just ask if there are any youtubers around who have suffered pp? I remember when I was ill and in a MBU I foolishly looked up the illness on YouTube and all I found were horrific stories of women who hadn't got well. I kind of thought as a way of getting better I would

Recovery Setback
HI all, I found this website online looking for help and answers. My wife had PP in 2013 after the birth of our daughter. She spent 3 weeks in the hospital before coming home. She was not manic after that time but very depressed for several months. Outside of the hospital she only used lithium,

Why is it so difficult to Interact with G.P.s ?
Hello. This is my first post, although I have been a lurker for some time. I am 65, female, with many symptoms which brought me to this forum. I thought I was B12 deficient about a year ago after finding information by accident which appeared to sum me up completely. So, I started taking B12, but nothing

Stomach pain with muscle discomfort
Hi there, for the last 4 months I've had stomach pain(right between ribs mostly after eating)with muscle discomfort in upper and lower back. Both symptoms come and go, sometimes I feel good for a couple days then it's back. The discomfort can last for hrs. Naturopath treated me with candida supplements

Faith shaken after Pp
I had an episode of pp exactly a year ago when I was 5 mths postpartum, I woke up one morning in complete confusion and depersonalization. I believe I was saved before this happened, but now I'm questioning it. Over thE past year I have doubted and questioned everything I've read in my Bible and so much

Anxiety Related and C-PTSD
I suffer from C-PTSD have done since a teen. a touch of OCD hehe who doesn't,right? I definitely have anxiety issues deriving from family dysfunction, low self-esteem and addiction issues, plus the trauma. I can't get treatment for mine other than an anti-depressant which is sposed to help with anxiety

Just a diet problem
Hi everyone, I had my oesophagectomy 6 years ago, and apart from dumping and reflux I've been quite well. A few months ago I noticed more reflux, or even vomiting after meals, and sometimes gagging during meals . Of course I immediately became convinced the cancer was back. I rang the specialist nurse

Hello
Hello, I am new to the site. I have suffered from phobias and anxiety most of my life. I fell at the beginning of this year and broke my left kneecap and wrist. Very hard recovery. I have developed a severe case of PTSD from the trauma. May I ask has anyone else suffered from PTSD?

Am I irresponsible to consider pregnancy?
She had never heard of
post
partum
psychosis
and said to me, you shouldn't ever make decisions based on fear. I didn't see her again, as we weren't a good fit. I went back to the GP to ask them to chase up the referral and I still haven't heard anything from the local mental health services!
