Has anyone tried home remedies to help with IBS-C..such as Apple Cider Vinegar, Blackstrap Mollasses, etc? Anything better than Laxatives?
So tired of medication that doesn't work. Can't be on toilet all day cramping because I have mandatory groups. Tired of Linzess and loose stools. Fiber does nothing. Have gone to every Doctor and Gastro..just had Upper GI, and lower Bowel Follow through with Barium Swallow. Everything fine. Colonoscopy

Things are getting tougher now and, although I have sucessfully completed all runs to date, my music isn't seeming to distract my brain from screaming "aagghhh how many minutes left!?" Suduko on the treadmill is also not my friend any more as I've got no walking breaks to tap in the numbers and I definitely

Looking for an exceptionally good therapist or shaman for Complex PTSD. Would love someone Knowledgeable in actually releasing trauma.
I need therapist in Minnesota twin cities or 50 miles surrounding. I want therapist with high integrity, respectful, understanding, highly empathic and intuitive. Someone caring to hold space, listen and support. Some one who actually IS Person centered not just say they are but then reveal how they

Depressed and suicidal
Hello everyone. I am new here and don't know how to use the forum yet, so hope I am posting correctly. I am 55, disabled due to PTSD and major depression, and there is literally no joy in my life. I want to end it all.

Chronic side stitch
I am a 30 year old female. For 10 + years, every time I run, I get a side stitch within a few minutes and it’s so bad I can’t continue running. This even happens when walking sometimes, biking, skating, using elliptical, etc. It’s usually on the right side under the ribs, but sometimes other spots in

Worried about further mental health complications
Hello everyone. I had my first daughter in 2016 and had accute PP following her birth. I was hypomanic for 4 weeks and then went into what I can only describe as a hallucinogenic comatose state from 4 weeks. Luckily it was caught and I recovered fast. I have just had my second daughter 4 months ago and

What am I doing??
Since my hm on 22 April I have been out running up to 9 miles max but mostly shorter runs. I have covered 105km in May, same distance as April so it looks as though all is well. However, I don't feel like I am progressing or covering distance like I was. Runs feel like hardwork, possibly as it is hotter

“Think Positively” makes me angry
Hello all. Just a brief bit of background... I have MDD, PD, and OCD. I also struggle with anorexia. I just recently moved to a new city (for a job) and graduated from college in December. All of this change has made the anxiety so much worse and I don’t know what to do. I’m so far away from all my

Don't Know what to do
In recent weeks I have been finding my depression has been getting worse. I had an appointment with my therapist and she felt it was the PTSD causing the depression. Last week I had several events happen in which I could see it was the PTSD and the anxiety was sky high. Over the weekend I took it easy

I found help
I have always suffered from anxiety and stress and following a series of recent colorectal surgeries, full-blown PTSD and Post Sepsis Syndrome. Life was unbearable. I was suicidal. I wanted to die. I came across a therapy developed by Maria Peer, Rapid Transformational Therapy and it helped, it helped

Stricture/dilatation
Hi all....after 2-3 weeks of very, very bad pain, sickness, nausea, dry retching, and complete loss of appetite, I underwent a barium swallow which showed a stricture/long narrowing just below the pylorus into the duodenum. I was shown the images and it was very narrow. It showed that liquid was getting

Recipes from our Group!
A while back, we tried to gather recipes from our MS members and received a few good ones. But only a few. I'm bad, I have recipes, it's just been a tough spring and never got one entered. This will be lengthy, but it's the only way we can publish what we gathered. Please feel free to try them and

Hi, This is a bit of a weird question and most likely isn’t Lupus related but who knows. My whole life I’ve found blood tests extremely painful. I don’t mind injections and don’t have a needle phobia. I also find cannulas excruciating and find being put to sleep the most pain I’ve ever experienced

Hello
Hello, I suffered a TBI in 2015 and have PTSD due to a criminal attack. I practically live a normal life but find it difficult to relate to people around me who just don't seem to understand and I don't know where to turn. Feel free to get in touch if you can relate.

Terrifying episode of PPP.
I'm new here, I'm from NW3 area and wondered if there was any other ladies near by that has been through Postpartum Psychosis. I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy 3 months ago and since then a week later after his birth, I've been in a MBU in Hackney for five weeks as I was in the mania stage and feeling

Week 3 summary.
Well I've managed (just) all of w3. To anyone behind me: if I can get this far you can too. 3 very different runs. For 1 I was grumpy after a long week at work.. barely managed to motivate myself and walked outside to rain. Gave self pep talk that it was either go back or succeed and surprised myself
