Things are getting tougher now and, although I have sucessfully completed all runs to date, my music isn't seeming to distract my brain from screaming "aagghhh how many minutes left!?"
Suduko on the treadmill is also not my friend any more as I've got no walking breaks to tap in the numbers and I definitely can't jog and type!?
And this tubby middle aged mummy is not ready to be seen "wobbling" in public, (let's face it, I'm so slow that I'd be done under the trades description act if I dared to say I was running, so "wobbling" feels more appropriate!) so switching to outdoors to break the monotony of the treadmill isn't a option for me...yet...
So this morning I tried a new approach and downloaded Sarah Millican "Chatterbox Live" to complement her app pep talks!
So did it distract me from the clock.....yes! But it also presented new and unexpected problems...I had uncontrollable bursts of laughter throughout and now think my fellow gym members think I'm deranged!!
Oh well, you win some and you lose some!!
