Heart Failure/Atrial Fibrillation medicine from Foxgloves. Once a mainstay heart drug, but superseded by safer drugs that extend life.
[i]'In the modern era, digoxin was considered, for many years, the mainstay of treatment for people with heart failure. However, this has changed over the last decade as it has been replaced as first-line treatment with other medicines which are generally safer to use and known to improve patient survival

On the move again - W6 R1😄
Two weeks after completing W5 and one week after an abandoned (W6 R1 due to niggley, achey problems with my foot) I'm finally back on it! Decided I would try again earlier this evening, the having felt no pains or aches since last Sunday when I went swimming. Not sure if this was just coincidence or

W7R3 smashed it!!!
This was by far my most favourite run yet!! I've ended up having two rest days between run two and run three and wow what a difference! I felt so good all the way, on the other runs this week I had been getting about halfway and starting to feel really breathless and tired and not sure I could carry

W2 run 1
Newbie 45 year old mum of 2 (teenagers now urghh) and full time midwife. Have never tried running before but I do walk a lot. Also a wee bit overweight so I'm doing the 5:2 diet as well, going to run on my non fast days. Loved week one. Found today's run a bit more challenging but got through it, struggled

How did you heal your PTSD?
I am new to this group, and suffer terribly from complex PTSD, amongst other issues, I was particularly interested in this sites Founder, Michael Rosenthal's healing protocols, and certainly anyone else here who is progressing through this very difficult disorder. Â

Started therapy today
I went to my first session of therapy today. Diagnosed with PTSD. OUCH! She was so nice...even though I had to relive some of my past today, along with tears and pain...I got through it! She warmed me that it gets worse before better, but I am still actually feeling pretty good with my diet and exercise

Narcissism, ego, and PTSD
This may be hard for some to believe. But part of my C-PTSD is the belief that I started having panic attacks because I was an egotistical, narcissist. I monitor every thought and emotion and if it is pleasurable then I immediately think that it is selfish and egotistical. I know where this reaction

I found out about 6 months ago that I have PTSD along with anxiety, panic and depression. Â I have been in therapy since I was 17 and I am now 35. Â I feel this is never ending. Â Lately I have been having eposides happening every two months. Â Sometimes I take a month to get out and sometimes weeks. Â I

Week5 run3
Done and dusted! So pleased with myself. Before the run I was worried that I wouldn't be able to run for the 20 minutes straight. It didn't help any that my wife/running buddy had to drop out this week due to injury. So I started my run and Laura did her usual pep talk and before I knew it I was at
