Mental Abuse/Anxiety/PTSD Diary
Hello, I'm a freshman here and you can call me Michael, my great interests/talents are talking all sorts of philosophy and learning multimedia skills, I have a mentally abusive family which unexpectedly gives me social anxiety and PTSD, and I'm not proud to declare it, I don't have a stable friend circle

Concerned about TSH & T4 levels
My blood test results on 24/09/20 were TSH= 1.21 T4= 23.4. I was told to lower levothyroxine from 125mg to 100mg. Follow up test 25/11/20 TSH= 0.86 T4= 22.6. Text today said reduce from 100mg to 75mg levothyroxine. Does this seem normal? I havent been feeling great for a few weeks . Particularly in the

Living with PTSD
I served in Vietnam in 1966 and 1967. I was medically discharged in 1968 for medical problems related to being shot. When I returned home I had a hard time adjusting to being back in society. I had flashbacks and nightmares. In 1988 I went back to Vietnam as a tourist. I thought I would go one time and

Hanging in there!
Thanks for your advice - however it would not be a wise move to stop any medication and go alternative, when you have good reasons for being on main stream meds. Alternative meds such as St Johns Wort is very effective after a few mths use - for depression however it does interact poorly with many meds

Copeing with PTSD
Good morning, I’m new here. I’m wondering if anyone else have ever dealt with PTSD and if so How did you handle the out bursts? Nothing seems to work.

Meet new people that are like me!
Does anyone here suffer from bad anxiety and PTSD ? I do and I am slowly overcoming the negative side of it. I think I will with time and was looking to find similar people to me that could share their experiences and get on with. sometimes it seems as if it’s just you out there going through it but

Experience with PEP Device
Hello - Does anyone use a PEP device? I was just prescribed one by my respirologist but she did not advise me of the resistance level. I started with the lowest and worked my way to the highest but I don't find that it makes a big difference in chest clearance. I seem to have better results with my

My whole life changed one month ago today when my son was murdered in my front yard. I can't sleep, I can barely get out of bed. I know I'm suffering from PTSD. My anxiety is threw the roof. Just trying to find the strength to go on

CR5
A pretty decent run spoiled by the return of the knee niggle about 2/3 of the way around. Weekends rest now, Saturday hike has been cancelled 😢 but at least can keep leg use to a minimum so I'm fit for next week. Started misty and spooky but was pretty decent by the time I'd got home. Tried the wired

I'm so tired of my PTSD and anxiety knocking me to my knees. Just a little something and now I'm so shook I can't go to sleep. Something has to give.
