Hi Leanne, I don't have any experience of The Priory, but I wanted to ask about your PTSD!If you'd rather not answer I'd understand!
I just wanted to know when you were diagnosed with it and how it affects you you on a daily basis?
The reason I ask is, It's something I wonder all the time! Do I suffer from PTSD myself, purely based on my messed up mind and some disturbing content!
Not sure if it's something that can be treated, or it's merely labelling it!
I can understand why you are scared.

Dont be scared, professionals around you want to see you getting treatment and have safe conversations on what you are thinking to help put a clear puzzle for you with strategies, at the right time in a safe place at your pace. The sessions will expose your trauma/thoughts, but in a safe place with a person asking the right questions during that conversation. They will be controlled. The therapy sessions can be 90min-2hrs which maybe few sessions a week without covid having an impact and on average positive therapy can be anything from 6-12mths. However with brain injury they may require a specialist person and this may take a while.
