Should I go back to the docs?
Hi just wondering if anybody had any advice? Despite the GP doubling my antihistamine from 185 once a day to 2 a day, my symptoms haven't significantly improved ( I am on other meds Montelucast, Symbicort 400, nasal spray- Dymista, ) I am just so lethargic, having a shower really takes it out of me

Hi I'm new on here. I have an underactive thyroid and been managing it with medication for done years, however since January I've had a rash on my shins that's dry and itchy, inflamed and now sore due to all the itching. It's spread to both shins and now my inner thighs and one arm. I don't sleep that

Beta blockers and antihistamines?
It's that time of year again, but I feel this year I need to be extra careful with my choice in hayfever remedies. I'm currently taking daily doses of: 1.25mg Bisoprolol 20mg Rivaroxaban 2mg Diazepam I asked my local pharmacist what antihistamines I could take and they said Cetirizine Hydrochloride

Antihistamines double dose
Hi I was just wondering if anybody else is on a double dose of Fexofenadine I had an asthma attack on Mon so saw my GP today, my con had advised if I was ill that would be the best course of action initially leading to full course of pred if not successful, which I am hoping against hope to avoid this

Feeling Frustrated by Allergic Reaction to Meds
I visited the doctor with extreme exhaustion, to the point of feeling sick by 3.30 in the afternoon everyday, feeling like I was trudging through mud just to walk down the office and unable to function on a day to day basis. At first I was told that my thyroid was underactive and I wasn't on the borderline

Prednisalone prescription
Hi all! My peak flows dropped to 50% after a couple of nights of coughing and I was quite short of breath but with no wheeze. I spoke to my asthma nurse on the phone who Said she would ask another nurse to check me over and prescribe pred. The nurse I saw said that because I wasn't wheezing she thought

Consistently high tsh results gp update
Well I spoke to my new GP and requested a full thyriod panel and I was pleasantly surprised when the bloods included most of what I hoped for. Antibodies and folate weren't tested however, my results were as follows: TSH= 0.26mU/L (0.35-5.5) [below range] FT4= 16.6pmol/L (10-19.8) [still<75% range] FT3

Antihistamines and Beta Blockers
I've read that you shouldn't mix antihistamines and beta blockers. Are there any hay fever sufferers on here who have found an alternative? I'm on 1.25mg Bisoprolol.

Itchy little spots after eating
Hi there, the last few weeks l have had small spots appear on my tummy and arms and back - not more than 10 altogether but they get very itchy and angry 20 minutes after eating. It is making me miserable and had normal blood test results. If l don't eat the spots are like dormant and don't bother me,

Feeling low
Hi Everyone, Thought it best to post on here as I'm sure you will understand. I'm due a laparoscopy on the 20th May, as the consultant suspects I have endo and adeno (the latter due to my lumpy womb that he discovered on an internal exam on the 1st April). Since the appt with him and the internal,

What to do about hayfever
I was diagnosed with asthma 3 years ago (aged 20), and now I seem to be developing hayfever too. I've never had hayfever before until last summer I started getting watery eyes and nasal issues (alternating between runny nose usually when I went outdoors and blocked up when I was inside). It wasn't awful

Total Thyroidectomy & Level 6 Lymphnode Clearance
Update from my last post 3 weeks ago. I had my surgery done 2 days ago. It all seem to have gone well. I was sent home after with Levothyroxine 150 micro and Adacal D3 (twice a day). I'm a bit worry after reading the different experiences some of the members had to endure after taking Levothyroxine

daily antihistamines on top of existing asthma meds?
Hi All Any of your little ones take a daily anti histamine as well as their other meds? My 12 year old recently had further allergy tests and he reacted to dust, cats, flowering trees, mold and grass. Just received a letter this morning asking us to get a prescription from GP for a daily anti histamine
