Only temporary respite from IV iron?
Back again - thought I was done with RLS after my iron infusion but seems like the respite was only temporary. Presently having symptoms from dawn until dusk, though some days are worse than others. Iron IV was 6 weeks ago; have just had bloods drawn for an iron panel so will see my neurologist when

insomnia and heart medication
I’ve had chronic insomnia for weeks: I fall asleep fairly easily but wake up at around 3:00 AM. Itching from anticoagulant
Since I started taking an anticoagulant (Xarelto) 3 weeks ago, after my first ablation, I’m constantly itching. It’s rather difficult to live with. Has anyone else experienced this? I read online that itching is a possible but quite rare side effect and that antihistamines help some people. But antihistamines

Niraparib - arm/shoulder aches
Hi 🙂 My mum has been on Niraparib for 6 months. She has had very few side effects except a bad back that lasted a few weeks. Over the last month or two she has been experiencing an achey shoulder which seems to ease with stretching. She’s not sure if it’s the muscle or the joint as sometimes her wrist

I noticed it like two days ago and putted cream and took antihistamines, i don't know why it's perceiving or whether it's something else. I sleep all day. And my head is itchy but can't put cream there

What Skin Conditions?
I had itchy skin and rash every 4-6 days. It doesn't have any trigger but it can relieved using antihistamines. It itches so bad that it wakes me up every night and sometimes it wont let me sleep at all. It's annoying and bothering me for a year now. Can anybody tell me what it is?

Dealing with nonallergic rhinitis (NAR)
For more than 50 years, I have suffered from "hay fever"-like symptoms that are, however, related to changes in weather/air pressure. So not just in spring, but throughout the year. Recently, I noticed that the symptoms are suddenly becoming more frequent. Normally, the attacks last 2 to 4 days. But

SSRIs and interaction with other medications
Hello OCD community! I’ve been handling my OCD symptoms and episodes pretty well for the last year. However, I got the flu two days before Christmas and I was very sick three days in a row. I was prescribed a cough syrup which later on I read online it was an antihistamine. I started taking the syrup

Antihistamines for Post Covid Symptoms?
Hi, a few weeks ago I tested positive for Covid… It caused an asthma flare but my Fostair and Ventolin along with a course of Dexomethasone steroids seemed to have kept it manageable… Although the actual illness passed very quickly (temp, awful throat, horrible barking coughing fits) I have been left

Hi Everyone, Has anyone figured out a way to alleviate the itching from PBC? My situation improved for a while and now the terrible itching is back. I have tried antihistamines and they really don't work great. Please let me know if you have found anything to alleviate the itching. I really appreciate

Track your medications in Health on iPhone
If you have an iPhone, and you have got IOS 16 installed, current latest is 16.2, there is a medication alert feature. In my view, it feels a bit of a work in progress. Some features are only available in the USA. (Scanning your medicines to add them to the app. Doing predictive text on medicine names

Update from previous post...
Hi So I visited my GP today to get discuss my latest blood results. Previously I mentioned i am being treated for MCTD on hydroxychloroquine. I started itching especially after showering and in general feels like I'm on fire some days. I spoke to rhumotolgist nurse who advised me to reduce my hydroxychloroquine

Possibly not an ET symptom but thought I would ask :)
Hi everyone, I thought this place would be a good place to ask as it's a wealth of knowledge 😊 and it might be ET related or not. I have never experienced this before. Pain above molar teeth that runs across jaw and left side of head.
Hi, I have been suffering from an ache above my top molar teeth on my left hand side. I have had the pain on a few occasions over the last few years which have always cleared up after 5-10 days. My dentist never found a problem but gave me antibiotics a couple of times in case it was a sinus infection

Apixaban skin reaction?
I’m having the most awful burning, itchy, inflamed skin on my face that’s come on suddenly over the past couple of days. Im wondering if it’s related to the Apixaban that I’m on. Has anyone else had such a reaction? I have tried an otc antihistamine to no avail so if anyone knows a remedy I’d love

Chest infection confusion
Hey everyone. So this has happened twice now with similar sets of symptoms. Recent symptoms: Basically severely reduced peak flow (150 during the attacks, max is 470, about 250/280 now, so I'm well into amber still), been in and out of hospital the last few days with asthma attacks, increased work

What can I do? Help please?
Hi, I was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease in March this year. In August I started taking hydroxychloroquine at 200mg. I saw my rhumotolgist about 3 months in and told her I had not noticed a difference. She told me to increase my dose to 400mg which I did. Fast forward another 2 months

Allergies + Tinnitus + Dizziness
Hope everyone is doing ok! My tinnitus has remained louder since Covid and my vertigo/dizziness is still lurking, but the latter still better than it was a year ago so that’s something. I recently had a follow-up phone appointment with my audio vestibular consultant and although my original diagnosis
