Apixaban skin reaction?

I’m having the most awful burning, itchy, inflamed skin on my face that’s come on suddenly over the past couple of days.

Im wondering if it’s related to the Apixaban that I’m on.

Has anyone else had such a reaction?

I have tried an otc antihistamine to no avail so if anyone knows a remedy I’d love to hear it. It’s the only medication I’m on at the moment (since July) and I can’t stop it as I’m getting an ablation on Wednesday.

I'm not on Apixaban .. but on PRADAXA and I get a hard little rash over my abdominal to neck area.

Probably is that.

I take Flixonase 1 drop each nostril when required.
