Itching from anticoagulant

Since I started taking an anticoagulant (Xarelto) 3 weeks ago, after my first ablation, I’m constantly itching. It’s rather difficult to live with. Has anyone else experienced this? I read online that itching is a possible but quite rare side effect and that antihistamines help some people. But antihistamines are not an option for me personally. I’ve also had extensive blood tests that I have a ruled out other causes for body itch. Thanks in advance.

Yes I had that and was given antihistamines. I was then given Apixaban instead no more itching or hives.
