Orphenadrine
My hwp had been using ophenadrine some time ago and stopped because of fears around using anticholinergics. However, his unrelenting battle with sciatica has me wondering if it might not be worth taking the risk. He is a well person in every other way, but the pain has him battling to do exercise. He

Glandular Fever virus and PMR?
Hello everyone, Does anyone know if the Glandular Fever virus could be linked with PMR? I contracted GF and Hepatitis B of the Liver in 2005, it took me 3 years to get over it and live my life normally, I took no drugs, it really was a case of rest and gentle exercise, the Drs warned me if I didn't

MULTI CYCLE PACKAGE - Frozen vs fresh transfer - ICSI
Hello All! I hope you’re as well as possible. I’ve taken a 6 month break to work on my physical and mental health before embarking on this gruelling journey. I have very low AMH (2.9) - no other identified issues and all other hormone levels good. Husband has borderline morphology issues but has

Aspirin helps implantation?
morning everyone. I had two failed ICSI cycles and I am scheduled for a frozen embryo transfer in October. Unfortunately the grading is not great (day 6 4CB) but I’ve been reading a lot about aspirin and how it’s meant to help implantation. Any success stories?

First cycle scan..gutted
Well we had our 10 day scan today. I don't feel optimistic 😕 we had 1 large follicle at 18mm, another 3 at 13mm and then 1 at 9mm and 3 under that. The nurse said its unlikely the 4 smaller will grow but they will keep me on stims until Monday for egg collection. We re-scan Saturday. Bit gutted. Was

confused about amh
Just had our first consult via video call. We have been told that my AMH is low and we will need IVF with ICSI and possibly donor eggs as I will need high doses of meds and may not respond well. I’m 40 in April, my AMH is 3.4 and on my antral follicle count I had 14 on my right ovary and 1 on my left

Failed ICSI fertilisation first attempt with only 1 mature egg
Hi, I just went through our first ICSI attempt and unfortunately only 1 egg has been retrieved and after ICSI there was no sign of fertilisation. I have low AMH (I am 36 years old and my AMH is 1.2) and my partner has male factor as well. I went through a failed cycle in June with stimulation stopped

Sorted -,covid anti viral treatment
I managed to get covid a month after Rituxumab infusions, got free lateral flow test from independent pharmacy (boots and Tesco were hopeless and not signed up to the scheme) all the pharmacist needed was sight of a clinical letter confirming diagnosis. After testing positive I called 111 and an anti

Is this lupus?
Hi, I'm just into my sixties and have developed symptoms that are tempting to pigeonhole "getting older" or menopause, but I don't think that they are. I do know though that the flare ups became much worse following a viral infection Feb 2020 (maybe covid?). I also reacted dramatically to the astra

Chillblains
I have SLL and recently have had a few occurrences of Chillblains, my son is a Consultant Haematologist and tells me haematological malignancy is a common link and this paper links it to SLL, https://bmcdermatol.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12895-015-0032-z. I can cope with this keeping hands

TTW & struggling to keep positive.
hey! Im 31 & Currently in my 2nd TTW, I can test on Monday. Me and my husband have done ICSI. I have endo, one fallopian tube and recently had the surgery to remove the endometriosis. Ever since I was little iv always talked about being a mum, so it was just typical I guess that I’m struggling

Cycles coming back to normal after 3 IVF rounds in less than one year
Since October 2023 we have had 3 rounds of ICSI - two with transfer and one for freezing embryos. I didn’t pay too much attention between cycle 1 (Oct 2023) and 2 (Apr 2024) and between cycle and 2 and 3 (July 2024) there was a short gap of just 2 months. I have found after cycle and 2 and 3 that though
