evening update

I don’t have head lice or covid! My nurse checked my head and I took a covid test this morning. I am congested but I think it’s just allergies. I’m a little nervous though bc my temp has been around 99 all day today. Usually I run a little cooler. Today felt much better than the past few days, so I hope it’s all uphill from here. I’m a little anxious that I’m sick. I really don’t want to be. My nose is itchy and I’ve been sneezing which tells me it’s allergies. I have a slight headache that feels like sinus pressure. Again I’m just worried about the 99 temp

Even if it’s like 99.3

I am sure it needs to reach 100° to be considered a fever, 99.3° is slightly high. a low grade reading.

It went back down to 98.1. Wondering if my anxiety is causing the increase in temp

Yeah it could. It could be actually nothing at all, the body temperature fluctuates +/- 1° or more throughout the day just based on regular normal activity, time of day and all of that. like making your bed could elevate it and a glass of ice water could bring it down.

So glad you checked out ok. I have been thinking about you today. I remember when Covid first started and I was working at the grocery store...being out in public so much made me so nervous. I was constantly checking my temperature and worrying about what is considered "normal." I learned 98,6 isn't standard for everyone. So, yes, even 99 is ok. Anything 100 degrees and over would be more concerning. How are you doing right now? Feeling any better?

I have been thinking of you today too! How was your day? I feel okay! I’m so stuffy but I think it’s allergies. I have been sneezing all day!

Thanks! I appreciate it. I had a slow start to my day/didn't want to get up, but once I did I felt better. Yes, I think there is still a lot of pollen and allergens out there. I tend to sneeze a lot also when my allergies are bothering me. I hope you have a relaxing evening!
