I may be the last person to know this, but.......having been told to avoid the shingles jab as it contained a live virus, I've just been told that the NHS no longer use live virus vaccines, so it's safe for MPN patients.
I have now had my first shot👍

I thought it was the AZ jab that had the (very low) risk of clotting? I’m going to have the booster as it’s likely to be Moderna or Pfizer (I’m in tbe UK)
It is confusing. My Nurse Practitioner told me that the RSV vaccination is live, but people at this site sent me articles correcting that. I guess the pharmacists would be the best to ask.
Hi. The nurse at my surgery said that approval for the live virus vaccination has been withdrawn and once existing stocks have been used up, all future usage will be Shingrix, or similar non-live vaccines. I assume that applies nation wide, but it could be just our CCGJohn
