Before Levo I was hardly ever ill, rarely had a cold or flu but since starting Levo I’ve had the flu quite badly and I’ve had a constant cough since going on about 2 months. Now I’ve got a stinking cold over the holidays. Has anybody else had this or is this just a co-incidence?
I seem to be more ill since starting Levo - Thyroid UK

I’ve not heard of flu like symptoms being linked to Levo.
Do you think you may have had Covid ockerdoc? This can cause similar issues that are hard to shift.
Yes maybe it’s been going around my workplace so I’ve probably had it.
I've had some sort of cold / flu chesty cough and a feeling of 2lbs of mashed potato stuffed between my ears for around 4 weeks - conventional remedies seem to be of little help - my neighbour has had it for longer and his doctor has quoted him around 2 months for symptoms to fully resolve - I'm in Cornwall and it's doing the rounds down here.
I've had that stinking cold too - it's still hanging around after 6 weeks but just the dregs now.
I wonder if you were/are vitamin D deficient ahead of being diagnosed hypothyroid? That can cause more frequent infections and colds and I remember when the GP prescribed me D3, I had a cold-free year or two. This might be worth looking into and getting tested if you can as when some of your vitamins levels are low (like D, B12, folate and ferritin) they can contribute to how your thyroid works or doesn't.
